When did Pellegrini become a whining cock? He sure is doing a lot of talking. Hope we put one over him and shut him up!

New Manchester City signing Eliaquim Mangala remains unlikely to make his debut against Liverpool.

The £32million defender only joined up with the club last week and is still short of match-fitness but defender Pablo Zabaleta could be back in line to start and loan midfielder Frank Lampard is available.

Striker Sergio Aguero, who came off the bench to score at Newcastle last week, may not be ready to play 90 minutes while fellow forward Alvaro Negredo (foot) remains out long term.

Summer signings Lazar Markovic and Alberto Moreno are in contention to make debuts for Liverpool.

Fit-again winger Markovic and defender Moreno, recruited last week from Sevilla, are both set to be included in the squad for the match but fellow summer arrival Adam Lallana's wait to make his bow definitely goes on, with the midfielder not quite ready yet as his rehabilitation from a knee injury nears its conclusion.

Jose Enrique's condition will be assessed, while Daniel Agger, Jon Flanagan and Oussama Assaidi remain sidelined.

Will miss at least the first half of this as it is on the same time as Thee Oh Sees at the Melkweg. Bollocks.
 
Sky running with "Markovic and Moreno set for debuts" but i'd expect Lazar's to be from the bench.

I'm at work until 2 hours after the match starts. I might see if I can leave a few hours early and make it up later in the week though, if the teamsheet looks enticing enough.

Any result would be positive here though, and it's early in the season, so I'm kinda inclined to just keep an eye on it from my desk.

Bought a new internet TV system for £180 so now I've got tons of new sports channels that DO have EPL. Unfortunately the menu system is a real pain and I end up getting stuck on cooking shows at HT unable to find my way back !
 
Funny how before this game, the media were writing off our top four chances, now the same media is billing this game as a game between title contenders.

It's was only a couple of posts! Anyway, living down south, we get a load of pro London / United horseshit none stop.
