Lol, it cant be true.

Is there really a need to state the obvious?

I think Modo's trying to be funny.
That's what I thought.

We'll draw 1-1. Gerrard to score.

Kevin Davies will score a fluke with his gigantic arse.

I think people are getting jaded with liverpool currently, it friday and there are hardly any post concerning a game played at the weekend.

We'll draw.

Cos we're fuckin shite.
Yup. Can't see us scoring because we're so wonderfully bereft of creativity

Only if gerrard has a go further up the pitch will we look decent

Playing our patented 8-1-1 formation wont help either.

Joking aside now i want us to play shelvey infront of gerrard and adam. Or anywhere in the attacking third of the pitch.

He moves for the ball and isn't afraid to have a crack. If we play hendo i'm concerned it'll be little passes here and there and continuation of our ridiculously static offence

Shelvey strikes me as a player ridiculously confident in his own ability so is willing to try more, and a team with such low confidence as us at the minute we need all we can get.

I want us to play

--------------------Reina
Johnson---Skrtel----Agger---Enrique
-------------Gerrard---Spearing-----
------------------Shelvey
-----------Maxi----Kuyt---Bellamy

i'd agree, but with minor tweaks

Spearing may not be fit so it might have to be adam

kuyt...no....just...no. Bellamy central (meaning hendo/downing on the wing) or carroll.

I've read on twitter that Johnson is a doubt having picked up an injury in training today. Dont know if its reliable

We have to make the most out of Steven Gerrard because we're fucking shite otherwise.

-----------Bellamy-------
--Maxi--Gerrard---Kuyt--
----Adam--Henderson--

i'd like to see us try something like this once Suarez comes back:

-------------------------Reina

Kelly------------Skrtel---------Agger-------------Enrique

-----------------Spearing
---------------------------------Gerrard
Johnson-----------------------------------------Bellamy

--------------------Maxi
--------------------------------Suarez

so Bellamy up top instead, and one of Downing, Hendo or Shelvey coming into midfield. or maybe Kuyt in a straight swap for Suarez.

yeh, i know it upsets the back four. Peter doesn't care.

It boggles the mind how badly we have underperformed this season. Arsenal has been without most of their first 11 for the entire season, Chelsea is in transition and AVB is still learning the ropes, Spurs is fucking Spurs, and Newcastle(!) is fucking Newcastle - yet ALL these teams are somehow above us after 21 games! Despite us having been largely injury free (compared to our rivals), and enjoyed massive investment.

And who do we look to save us against the mighty Bolton? Steven fucking Gerrard, like a million times before.

....talking sense about this season's performance, oooh, you better believe that's a paddlin'....

last night I had a dream we drew this game. we're so lame currently that even in my DREAMS we're dropping points.

I think I'd prefer a 4-3 defeat than another 0-0 draw from now on. Not like we're making the top 4 anyway. Might as well get entertained, than have our eyes bleed for 95 minutes of watching Super Stu trying to land one on Jimmy Nail's head.

^ this.

We're not under-performing though.

We've signed a load of average players and now we have a very average squad, who are performing averagely.

We're the new Aston Villa.

Despite our glaring deficiencies, alarm bells will be ringing if we can't beat this shower of shite. Lets be straight here, they're a woeful outfit this season.

I'm still amazed at the lack of criticism Owen Coyle's getting this season, compared with Steve Kean anyway.

No reason whatsoever for Carroll not to start this. he's been shit but he's just about our only available out and out striker.
