Alright then, name 8 or more of these players.

I did it awhile back and I am in the Library on a short break so I'm not gonna try and find em all again but to name a few:

Bellamy
Sissoko
Crouch
Keane
Kewell
Riise
Hammil

off the top of my head. Yeah its a very subjective topic but if you go through a lot of his sell list you'll find players other managers have utilised better and/or have had resurgences.

Oh. Dear.

Bellamy, I'll give you.

The rest of that list is a fucking embarassment. I've gotta dmit, I've neever really got the absolute shoe'ing you've taken on here over the last few months. Until now that is.

In fairness to Wiz, Ryan, Alonso was on the verge of joining Madrid before he joined us, but I doubt he knew that. And yeah, the rest of the post was pretty much wrong.

Mascher, Alonso, Torres; all three are reputed superstars and internationals when they join under Rafa and he pays top dollar for them at that.

None of the three were superstars, Mascherano was the one that had the most known value, and was succeeding within the league.

All three have continued to do exactly what they were doing before joining Liverpool.

Torres' value has skyrocketed, his goal return has skyrocketed, his profile in world football has exploded.

Torres was scoring goals for us while Rafa was still introducing himself so how you can credit Rafa with that improvement is startling.

What? He joined years later.

Maybe the inference was a little too subtle Fark but the point was that Torres was scoring goals for us from day one. Rafa simply didn't have time to make any improvements in his game through the sheer majesty of his coaching prowess. I think Torres would have been just as successful at Chelsea, Arsenal, the mancs or even Spurs. He'd absolutely deliver 4th place for City if he was over there just now.

Maybe I read the post wrong but I thought the point was more that Rafa improved these players rather than simply had them playing to the best of their previously dormant abilities.
