Yeah I was working on making that list as well. Stopped when I realised how many "the rest of the world" were.

Bought two tickets and hoped to drive to Boston today but kids and domestic issues prevailed. Working on the days of the Baltimore and TORONTO games. Bummed.

Lucas poised for Liverpool return

July 19, 2012

By ESPN staff

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says midfielder Lucas Leiva will make his return from a long-term knee injury two months ahead of schedule.

Lucas, 25, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in November, but the speed of his recovery means he is set to play a part in the Anfield club's North American tour.

Liverpool are due to play friendlies against Toronto, Roma and Tottenham, and Rodgers told the club's official tour site: "He'll have some involvement. He's still got some way to go to get back to where he was before the injury, but he's back two months early.

"This is normally a nine-month injury. He's been back in seven, and that's great credit to his work and the work of the medics here.

"He's done very, very well and is working very hard. We can feed him into some of the games and increase his mental capacity to improve, because obviously it was a serious injury."

The Anfield manager hailed Lucas as "a great guy", adding: "He loves his football, loves this club, and he's making great progress.''

Lucas could play in the opening tour game against Toronto on Saturday, when Rodgers does not plan to give any player more than 45 minutes of playing time.

Good to hear, but I'll reserve final judgment until I see how things actually go out there on the pitch. It's a very nasty injury to have to come back from, and I'm not expecting instant top quality from the lad.

Yeah, Adorjan too. Looking through the pics the teams seem to be:

Rest of the World: Skrtel, McLaughlin, Sama, Danny Wilson, Adam, Gulasi, Eccleston.
Cockneys: Cole, Shelvey, Ibe, Sterling, Wisdom
Scousers: Carragher, Spearing, Robinson, Flanagan, Morgan, Brad Smith.

How the feck did the Rest of the World win that one?! Skrtel and McLaughlin must be amazing.

Ah, it's been a while. That's quite a drive. Enjoying the change of scenery from Austin to Morgantown?

Lived in Austin for 5 years. Had a lot of friends there. It kinda had become a home away from home ( India). So miss it a lot.

Having said that I really enjoy my work here. And living in a university town is a unique experience.

It's decided, I am going to the Roma Game - Driving up and back with my wee daughter! Oh Yeah! Last time I saw us in the US it was 2004 v Roma as well. Mickey Owen's last match
