Oh, I’ll celebrate it allright. Open bus parade with Klopp and the boys please. Also hire a town crier to read the full list of charges and convictions against City on every corner of Manchester for 2 weeks.
It’s not about celebrating it’s about saying Klopps team won 3 titles or the four players still here having 4 against their name. It would push those players and that team closer to the greatness they deserve.

Can we close this thread and ban all talk of contracts? It's been going on for over a year now and this abomination of a thread is littered with posts from so called "ITK's" on twitter posting what has later been proved to be absolute drivel.
All we know is, something is going between the club and the players and we'll find out sooner or later on the official page.

Agree with much of this, but not the last bit. I'd much prefer Virgil and Salah to stick around. Their agents on the other hand are a very different matter and I would roast them over an open fire soon as look at them, but that's another discussion.

The club should have set deadlines by the end of January to wrap up the Salah and VVD contracts otherwise offers are off the table.
I can't recall a time in my life where any club is in the verge of losing three important players for nothing in one window. Not even peak banter clubs get themselves into such a mess. It's just dragged on so long everyone is too bored to be angry about it.

Especially when one of them is the club captain. That’s not a good look for anyone.
That's true as far as it goes, but what if (as some have suggested on here, and I suspect they might be right) the club has made final offers and the players and agents are dithering or saying no? What more should we do then? Genuine question BTW.
As club captain and defensive ubermensch, Virgil’s the one for me. I’d rather the club go all out to secure him for another 2+1 years and get that sorted…strange it’s rumbled on.

If we have made a final offer that they have rejected, then we should swallow our pride and make another "final offer" to get it done.
It is financial suicide to let all of these three guys go for the sake of an extra £20k a week or whatever it is. We just need to manage the message that it doesn't give carte blanche to everyone else to ask for parity or thereabouts (including Ibou).
This squad needs to know that they are on the verge of winning stuff, year in, year out. If you want to be rich beyond your wildest dreams then piss off to Saudi, if you want to be a legend then sign on the dotted line and you'll still be set up for life.
But when do the final final offers stop?
