£160million?! Ha, bullshit.Klopp doesn't want to sign Xhaka but is keen to sign Embolo, Götze and Rudiger acc to Sportbild.
Klopp can spend around €200m this summer acc to Sportbild.
In-fucking-deed.
We have a huge squad and we've already added two more players in Grujic and Matip.
Massive clear-out on the horizon in my opinion.
It's ludicrously far-fetched, even if we sell Benteke and Lallana for a combined £45million, which we won't, but lets go with it, that would still require an investment of £115million from the club, that's never happen, if we're lucky they'll invest £30million net. So where will that £85million gap come from? Coutinho? Sturridge? Lucas?Yeah, but I think 160 mill including sales isnt that far fetched though.
I think he will get a lot more than 30m net
Yeah, if you get a manager like Klopp you simply have to give him money. I have always thought we would spend a lot this summer, and at least one player will be 30-35m
It's nowhere near far-fetched. Klopp will have been promised a substantial kitty for sure. It's ludicrously far-fetched, even if we sell Benteke and Lallana for a combined £45million, which we won't, but lets go with it, that would still require an investment of £115million from the club, that's never happen, if we're lucky they'll invest £30million net. I hear his agent requires an agent over here. *cancels holiday*Balotelli is going to China for a new world record amount whether he likes it or not.
As others have said its not far fetched.
According to a few of the journos Klopp will get more money to his disposal then any of the previous managers.
New TV deal is insane now and if, IF, we win next Wednesday then thats another 40 mill £.
Seeing as Atletico and Real are qualified already for the CL next season, the winner of the EL, be it Sevilla or us, will go directly into the group stages.
Benteke, Skrtel, Lucas, Balotelli, Bogdan, Ilori, Sinclair etc. Could be about 40-45 mill incoming.

We'll pick up around £100m (more I expect) this season and then this annually for 2016-2019 (expect a higher figure for us since we are screened more often) :

You can't use Transfermarkt for any valuations - they are seriously weird. I saw a top player on there the other day (forget who it was I was checking) and they valued him at £9m whereas in reality he was going for 30-40m.That's all well and good, but will all of the money be spent on transfers?
It's a stupid discussion anyway, because I want us to spend all that money on transfers.
I guess we all have to wait and see. A big factor will be who and how many players will be sold.
Let's break it down.
Players currently on loan (excluding new signing and u20s):
Yeşil - Irrelevant. The fee will probably be very low.
Fulton - Irrelevant. The fee will probably be very low.
Balotelli - Who wants to buy him? A Chinese club hopefully, but does the diva want to go there. Loan to an Italian club most likely.
Wisdom - £1-3 million at most
Williams - Irrelevant. The fee will probably be very low.
Marković - Will he even be sold, when we've got Ibe and Ojo on the bench?
Jones - Irrelevant. The fee will probably be very low.
Alberto - £3-5 million at most.
(Valuation according to: http://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-liverpool/leihspieler/verein/31)
So that's about £8 million at most or £4 million at least. Considering that the fees are in Euros on the site I got it from.
Players in the first team squad:
The general consensus, based on posts here, tell me that the following will be sold:
Benteke - £20 -23 million
Skrtel - £8-10 million
Lucas - £7-9 million (strange valuation), closer to £4-5 million, so forget "transmarkt's valuation.
Allen - £4-6 million (strange valuation), I think it's around £8-10 million again, forget "transmarkt's valuation.
Ilori - £2-3 million.
Texeira - £1 million
Bogdan - £1-2 million
The total is at most £54 million or at least £44 million.
-------------------------------
The grand total being at most: £62 million
At least: £48 million
So basically it's around £50-60 million in player sales.
Make of it what you want, but if we manage to sell Balotelli and Klopp decides to sell Markovic as well, we might be looking at around £70 - 90 million in player sales.
Was it Lucas? You can't use Transfermarkt for any valuations - they are seriously weird. I saw a top player on there the other day (forget who it was I was checking) and they valued him at £9m whereas in reality he was going for 30-40m.
I separated this out because its actually something interesting. It's nowhere near far-fetched. Klopp will have been promised a substantial kitty for sure.

We've always spent heavily............ on rubbish.
Klopp doesn't have a record of heavy spending at any of his previous clubs though. Can't see him demanding heavy financial backing.
He gave Mignolet a new contract ffs
Of course it's dependant on where we actually finish but a Top 4/5 should reap us maybe 50M more than this season since we also need to add on additional TV revenue, as a greater number of our matches are televised than most other PL teams. But yes a spend of 200m is highly unlikely especially since salaries are going to be under pressure to increase too.I separated this out because its actually something interesting.
One question - while undoubtedly the money isnsignificant isn't only going to be 20-30m more than last year ?
So a 200m spend is highly unlikely

Couldn't care less about the money, just want Klopp to get the players he wants and early so we hit the ground running next season.
Gotze would be a great start, dunno about the other two
