Transfer Rumours

Heh.

The single laziest cunt I've ever seen on a football pitch. No exaggeration there either, he is quite simply the most disinterested fucker to ever put on boots. He makes me furious the fucking chip-fat-haired ballbag.
Never watched Berbatov so eh?

Even when Berbatov wasn't scoring, his first touch was just mesmerizing to watch. Who cares about goals, he elevated it into an art form.

will he get his game for france in the world cup ? he's a player i've not see much of so will keep an eye on him this time .

He looks the biz for Sociedad I'd be worried that the likes of Madrid and Barca are not in for him.
Apart from Alonso and Silva they haven't let too many top notchers leave the league.
Underage players aside of course.
It's probably coz he's french though.

Mata, Torres. Robben, Zlatan, Eto'o, Aguero, Toure, Ronaldinho, Sneijder, Carzola, Javi Martinez, Thiago Alcantara, Higuain, Falcao...

Yep, not many.

What?
Thiago is the only comparable one there.
And maybe Aguero at a push.

Well, you did say "top notchers", which seemed to suggest any top players. What did you mean if not that?
Given the examples I gave I was obviously talking about players who joined the premier league from la liga via clubs outside the big two.
Yeah I probably should have included Aguero.

And mata

He was from valencia, no?

He started off at Madrid though.
And I don't rate him world class anymore.
He's a luxury player not a genuine top notcher.
You be crazy not to have him as world class when he moved though. Now he looks disinterested, but he should have been player of the season for 2 seasons on the spin at Chelsea.

And yeah, he started off at Madrid granted, but he moved from a club outside the top 2

So why was Thiago alone acceptable given that he went to the Bundesliga and came from Barcelona? Javi Martinez would be more appropriate from StevieM's list not to mention Torres obviously. Very confusing.

I would say Navas, Cazorla and Mata count. There weren't very many players better than them playing outside the top two in La Liga.

It must be an attitude thing though.
I use to rate him highly and his stats were outstanding at Valencia and his first season at Chelsea but Madrid didn't want him in 07 despite being brilliant in the Castilla side and now Maureen didn't fancy playing him despite of his excellent first season.
Something's clearly wrong.

Mourinho recently likes to make a sacrifice of a very good player whichever club he goes to, no doubt as a display of dominance

Sacrificed casillas, mata on his return to Chelsea

But I get your vibe

15m for Clyne apparently? I've not seen much of him, but I thought chambers who is younger, had displaced him and was more highly regarded?

Yeah I meant to correct the Thiago one but I just found it baffling that Barca would have let him go.
It was just bizarre.
Navas,Cazorla,Martinez and Mata are not even guaranteed a start every week so I wouldn't consider them to be top notchers.
Top players are always one of the first names on the team sheets regardless of who they play with.

I think you're trying to have your cake and eat it a little with this argument here. At the time they left all of those players were amongst the best outside the top in La Liga - which is what you were talking about... Barca and Real Madrid letting La Liga's top talent leave.

Let me wade into the Mata discussion you guys are having and make the case for him being a top talent.

His record during his first two years at Chelsea reads something like this: 28 goals, 44 assists, 1 CL, 1 FA Cup and 1 Europa League. He was a central figure when that Chelsea team was actually winning things so to discredit him on the back of shitbag Mourinho taking a dislike to the guy in a season where Chelsea, for a change, won nothing seems odd.

Mata and Cazorla aren't "top notch" players.

The fuck you on about.

Yeah but Berbatov scored goals.

This cunt swans around looking at his reflection in his boots, and isn't scoring.
Soldaldo scores goals too just not as many (in England at least)

Berbatov was the worst player I ever watched for not working for the team and having a go when the ball wasn't passed to him in the way he wants.

Ha ha and you call me thick.

ha ha ha.

Mata is fucking superb and one manager playing a style that he believed didn't suit him doesnt change that.

Not top notch.

Fucking lol

You're point is irrelevant.
Because you *are* thick.
Really really thick.
And what's a bell end?
And a Zlantan?

You say Juan Mata is not top notch, that's enough for anyone to laugh at you, nevermind your incredibly rude nature.
