Maybe it's a ploy between the two owners to bolster each others funds by doing overpriced deals in alternate summers? Cynical perhaps, but could happen.
I could be way off but can't shake a nagging feeling that Pedro would be a bad buy. I have nothing to back this up.
How the fuck are Chelsea getting 40 mill for David Luiz????
PSG are insane to say the least.

Educate me Mr Twist - What sort of player is he? I'd always heard he was pretty good.I actually agree. I have never been particularly taken by Pedro.
Yep, it ridiculous, it almost seems suspicious how much money Chelsea are getting for transfers, £50million for Luis who's had a bang average season, £38million for Mata who barely played and £18million for De Bruyne who's a kid, it's madness, they're basically being bank rolled by some obscene transfers, which is frustrating as it puts them at such an advantage. Also, Luiz for 40million. FFS. If that happens he will be close to accumulating 100 million in transfer fees. (including the fact Chelsea bought back Matic)
Kind of agree, I think it's because in my head without any facts to back it up, Sanchez is more pacy and I think pacy players are made for our system and are more likely to fit in instantly. But doubt they would sell Sanchez, also not sure why but Sanchez I reckon is still very hungry to prove himself, a little bit of pure hunger like Suarez.I could be way off but can't shake a nagging feeling that Pedro would be a bad buy. Mate I know fuck all about most players outside of LFC - But thanks for the info. 🙂Isn't he a striker who is continually shoved out wide cos Barca don't play with strikers? I am not an avid La Liga follower so you (or others) may know better than me but he's strikes me as being a bit of a nothing player (clearly that term is relative) when I watch him. I'd prefer Konoplyanka or, obviously, Sanchez.
wondering a little why we put so much effort into getting him just a few months ago but don't seem as fussed now . Were we buying for the sake of buying? Do we think we can get better now we have champs league ? Has sterling's rise convinced rodgers he doesn't need this lad ?

Pedro and Sanchez.
Next we need a Tuco Salamanca.

Chavs are brilliant at selling players and getting top dollar. How do they do that? Ayre, take a page out of that book
Conventiional wisdom by Keni 😉Probably by selling players clubs actually want!
Keni or LTW would explain the differences between Pedro and Sanchez. I think they follow La Liga pretty closely.
Problem is sanchez will be big time expensive.Sanchez is faster, stronger and I think a better goalscorer. Movement wise, Pedro is probably better, and better suited to a tiki taka. That's where my concern is - I think he'd struggle the way we currently play, while Sanchez would fit in seeminglessly.
Getting 40M for Luiz is a remarkable bit of business.

Who would be better for us? Kono or Pedro/Sanchez?
