Transfer Rumours

Here's some odds from the bookies, showing the favourite for each, make of them what you will, but some of them seem massively nailed on now:

Droga to Juve - 1/8 (?!)
Agger to Napoli - Evens
Lallana to us - 1/4
Shaw to the scum - 1/20 (?!)
Remy to Arse - 4/6
Fabregas to the scum - 5/6
Cavani to the scum - 6/4
Micah Richards to us - 6/4
Milner to the Arse - 2/1
Sagna to City - 1/7
Draxler to the Arse - 1/2
Ashley Cole to Monaco - 11/8
Kroos to the scum - 1/4
Konoplyanka to us - 1/2

I'm surprised at the Drogba one. I'm also surprised how short Shaw is in the odds, that makes it sound that all the paperwork has been done. If he's leaving, I'm very very surprised that City and Chelski aren't all over him throwing stupid money at him.

it would be too painful to watch Kroos play for ManUtd, but i dont think Bayern will let him go so easily unless Kroos desperately wants to leave...which I dont see at the moment

I read Kroos wanted superstar wages at Bayern and they aren't going to give it to him. They have Martinez, Schwein, Thiago etc and maybe feel they can afford to let him go. I really don't want to watch him stroll around the midfield for United next season.

Is he worth 200-250k a week?

They''ll have Rooney, RVP on outragous wages and possibly Kroos and Robben if rumours are to be believed.
Thats a lot of money when you need to rebuild most of your squad.

No guarantee Kroos will be as good in a Utd team as that ridiculously good Bayern team either mind.

No it doesn't. It just means lots of hopeful United fans have backed it.

We've been linked with Reading's young left back Jordan Obita.

@Pesam how good is he?
Sorry about the delay dmishra but i've been away for a couple of days. I've seen Obita quite a few times and not once has he played left back! He's played left midfield usually and been thoroughly underwhelming. I've no idea why we'd be linked with him (despite Rodgers Reading past) because he's done nothing to merit our attention.

Looks good on Youtube though:

Not sure if yer being serious Rurik? Hardly the most inspiring highlights and that's against the mighty Oman. Nathan Redmond looked good for England U-21's against Wales U-21's last week but the Welsh had defenders from Bristol Rovers, Crawley and Sheffield United in their line up....it's all relative to the class of opposition i.e. I'd probably do okay against Oman!

I am in stiches here. A youtube clip is bad enough. But against OMAN!

Oh man!

That's interesting. A couple of us were commenting the other day on how he impressed against Shamrock Rovers (okay, not exactly great opponents but still, he gave a good account of himself). I think he got ahead of Teixeira in making it to the first team bench although he didn't play. Hopefully we keep him around and see how he develops. Been training with the first team for a while now I think.

Choice of Pedro, Alexis Sanchez, Bony, or Remy for our third striker who would you want LFC to sign most and why?

If it's a striker out of those 4 you can rule out Pedro and Sanchez. Then you've got a choice out of Remy or Bony, I think I'd go for Bony myself. Remy seems a bit of a cunt, and he's on whopping wages. I'd take either of the pair though.

But considering rodgers like his strikers interchanging bony is the least likely to fit our system.

He's all style and no substance; he's just a show bony.

Bony :

Son of Daddy Cool & Ma Baker, Wilfred was brought up by the rivers of Babylon. As a toddler he was often referred to as Mary's boychild (Mary being Ms Baker's christian name), but as he started kicking a ball at the age of 5 he quickly became re-labelled "Rasputin" due his skills & trickery.

To be continued ...

Daddy Cool
That was one of his nicknames at Vitesse

[article=http://www.just-football.com/2012/11/extraordinary-swagger-wilfried-bony-vitesse-arnhem-eredivisie/]Every home goal at the GelreDome is greeted with the playing of ‘Daddy Cool’ by Boney M. Bony recently admitted the song – also his nickname – is now his ringtone.[/article]
