Why would they want enrique when they have a good backup for shaw already? And getting rid of dross is always difficult as you well know. Anyway moot point as apparently the shaw deal to manure is practically done for £25m. All that's left to agree is his personal terms.....apparently.
I'm curious as to why everyone seems to forget we have a very good left back already. He's called Enrique.

I'll be happy when we actually sign them. We've been so inept at landing players that its beyond a joke. Hope we remedy the situation and pull out all stops to land them big players to take us to the next level. Marco Reus or Javi Martinez would be some statement of intent.
He's OK and I would agree that - if he returns to fitness - it isn't the position we most urgently need to strengthen, but I'd still like to do so if we can manage it.

We always claim we've got great players until these average players return from injury. Same with Lucas, he's fucking 'wonderman' until he returns from injury.
Enrique is bang average. I'd keep him on as backup if he's not on loads of dollar.

I don't think he'll leave them - they are favorites to land that young Italian striker (Immobile?) who's just led Serie A in goalscoring. I think it will be someone from Bayern - they have a lot of talent and will be selling someone most likely.

Saw that German link last night, it said on there that Lallana isn't our marquee summer signing and our main signing will come from Germany, whatever thats worth.

The strong suggestion is that Rodgers doesn't rate Enrique and that he'll be sold this summer.
