Are they? Their T/O is higher then ours and by Athletics account their wage bill will be lower than ours.

This is Athletics prediction for Real and Barca

Isn't it a bit concerning how high we are in this?

More than United and Chelsea!?

Just under Real Madrid.

Isn't it any wonder why we're not signing players.

That's my take away from that graph too.

We have a super small squad with relatively few stars. What the fuck are we paying the likes of Salah?

My understanding is that a significant proportion of those figures is tied to bonus payments we made for winning the CL, world Club Cup and the league title. We should drop back down when the accounts for last season are released.

There's no way on gods green round earth is our wage structure higher than Chelsea's and Uniteds.

Chelsea have 10x the players on their payroll, Utd are paying De Gea Pogba Sancho Cavani Martial Rashford Maguire Fernandes all on 200k + a week..we have 2 players on that.

There’s only one club in that list not taking any steps to regarding remediation, no suprise there...

Our figures include bonus payments for winning titles.
Performance based contracts in addition to normal wages.

The graph would indicate that our wages have been rocketing since 2017. Before those bonus payments etc.

I guess it's been rocketing since we started qualifying for the CL in 2017.

Mohamed Toubache-Ter, who Sport Witness refer to as a ‘reliable journalist’, thinks the Portugal international could end up at Anfield this summer.

He claims the 23-year-old ‘could leave Lille for Liverpool’ in the summer transfer market while the ‘Lille board expect to let him go for at least €40-42m (£34-35m)’.

Camavinga would be a perfect signing. The wages about to be offered from the other teams will probably blow us out of the water, though.

WE NEED A STRIKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I know it's already been asked a number of times, but there never really seems to be much of an answer - why *isn't* anyone seemingly in for Aouar?

Yep, putting a post in CAPS and shouting (in text form) striker in fringe forum is really going to change the clubs transfer policy.

Prior to the pandemic his asking price was £50m plus, and now his club is desperate to sell, and keeps reducing the price. Clubs will probably wait to get him below £20m.

"Could".

There's less substance in that than in the average stick of candy floss.

I can help with some insight here.

Basically.... Barca and Real are fucked.
I'd say, unless something else I'm missing something, so is Atlético.

That graph doesn't look right. I read somewhere (quoting UEFA) that we were paying €298 million (not £) in 2020, 7th overall.

Good try but how's this. I raise your 'substance' analogy with.......

There's less substance in that than a 'henry' of banana peel (RedAstaire 2021) . - Over to you J (or anyone else on this rainy boring Monday) 🙂

To paraphrase @dantes ”graphs are shit”

It would seem that the lizards haven't spent a penny, are not going to spend a penny, were bracing themselves for the horrific backlash come September when we're 7th in the table. Then, by a stroke of luck, some moron researcher for a stupid website called them up to ask for a breakdown of their wages, and the lizards took the opportunity to overstate them by 100% in the hopes that it would appease the fanbase into thinking the lack of signings is ok.

The two Spanish clubs. Real Madrid's I have no idea what their figure is as it matches nothing I've ever seen before
Barca's
