I haven't seen enough of him, only the odd Frankfurt matches but I read that he's valuation is around €30m so I doubt he's someone we will be looking at, at this moment in time.

Assuming Inter's need to sell to be true, I'd say Barella is the player we should go for. We need a long term Gini replacement. Hendo, Milner, Thiago are not getting younger. Keita and AOC are permanently crocked.
He's more suited to the Klopp system than the other options. Bissouma? Not unless we want to lose 3 key players every other season. Aouar? I'm a huge fan but I just don't think Klopp wants a midfielder with creative licence in the centre of the park. The way he has utilised Gini and Keita speaks volumes.

I remember last season at Redcafe they had a let's make fun of Lukaku thread that pretty much was in the top list all season...the United fans made out like they weren't bothered what Lukaku was doing at inter but every week the Lukaku thread was there just to make fun of him it reached the peak when inter faltered in the Ufea cup final last year and Lukaku contributed to the own goal. This season I haven't seen that thread in redcafe I guess Lukaku excellent performances have meant that they can't tease him as much as they want to. Isn't Sanchez at inter as well?

I believe with all CB fit that the starting comb' of Matip and VVD is the most solid defensive pairing we have....
But having said that, Matip is in-out with injuries and plays about 10 - 12 games per season if that. Gomez is not to far behind injury wise.
We should bee looking to move them both on and sign Kabak. He is a better player than some of you give him credit for, and more pacey.
He reads the game well, and how many times have we seen him get back to denine a player a goal scoring opportunity.

Gomez would be a good back upto TAA. The way I guess the club/klopp is looking at it is, its statistically speaking its unlikely we will so many more injuries to our CBs.
In the event Matip isn't sold we have VVD, IK, Gomez, Matip, Nat and Ben Davies, 6 players for 2 places. How do you keep all of them happy if they're not getting game time? gomez can play rightback, Nat deserves more game time considering how good he's been.
What other areas do we need to spend? Gin's replacement, how much is that going to cost? An AM and a striker? Not going to be cheap.
We should give Gomez more time.

Klopp has said Davies has a future. Do you really need a 5th choice £18m CB?
We have Neco as back up for TAA... So I feel we should move both Matip (A player I rate a head of Gomez) and Gomez on ( both of whom are injury prone) and bring in Kabak, it would save on wages and add to the transfer fund for It makes sense all around. If Gomez spend a large part of next season injured we would see his value fall. Look at the Ox. Paid 40m for him, and will be lucky to get half of that back
I would put Kabak a head of Gomez, and who is to say VVD will return fully and not have a few missed games
