Nice one Spion. On the telly you could pick up a little of the snidey stuff. Parker definitely tried to stamp on Suarez just before they got a bit tangled up. I will probably end up watching the game again so will keep an eye out. I know you are not particularly a Spurs hater but I bloody well am. I detest their arrogant nature and am chuffed to fuck we beat them.
Oh they and their arrogant fans need to be taken down a peg. I've gained more respect for Arsenal fans this year, at least they gloated when they won or achieved something. If we can't catch Spurs then I'd like to see Arsenal do it. Just to rub the little cunts noses in it.

It would, but I rarely go out during the winter here. Also, I just wore the wrong clothes. Thought it would be a bit warmer.
I predicted over 3 goals. Suarez and Gerrard (pen) for us. Verthongen for them. I also said red card. Verthongen tried his best to get sent off for me. At HT time I told everyone to get on a Gerrard pen for us. It was funny watching it play out.

Exactly. I know plenty of great Spurs fans, but there is a large majority of them that are intolerable. Maybe it's to do with living close to the club, but I don't get the same from West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham or QPR fans.
Saw something wonderful on the train from London to Liverpool. A man and his young son were sitting in front of us in the train, both Spurs supporters.

They are the sort of people who tend to be perfectly reasonable most of the time but are a nightmare when Spurs are doing reasonably well.
I have a couple of Spurs supporting mates on Facebook. Yesterday during the game one of them, when they were leading, posted something like 'come on Scousers, at least give us a game'. He then went very quiet of course. He is the same person who, when they beat Arsenal, started bragging about how the win (one game) proved that there has now been a shift in power!
The other Spurs supporter actually tried to shrug off the defeat by saying it was 'Liverpool's cup final'. Er, excuse me? I wouldn't mind so much if Spurs were a team who had recently started winning more trophies than us but they're not. They won fuck all trophies before and they still don't now.
Its not so much hate. Its more that in the past few seasons they've been banging on about how fucking great they are without actually achieving much. One swallow doesn't make a summer and all that, and some of them have started this posturing about how they're a big club now. Do it consistently for a period of time and you will be considered. If you don't then carry on winning the odd FA Cup every ten years. That's been their level for the past 50 years in any case.

Oh the their ground is located in one of the most shitty parts of London, and the walk from Seven Sisters to the ground used to be one of the scariest walks / jogs / sprints in football.
I know we consider it shit that we haven't won the league since 1990, but Spurs haven't won it since 1961! Most of the players who last won the league for them are probably dead now!

I lived in North London (Kentish Town & Islington) for 5 years so I was surrounded by the arrogant wankers. Spion's right about Seven Sisters Road as well. I used to volunteer in a school just off St Ann's Road. The morning walk from the station was interesting - Smack heads and pissed tramps everywhere. I've watched a few games in pubs in North London and have been witness to both Arsenal and Spurs fans many times. Spurs are Waaaaaay worse. They just have this smug arrogance about them these days. I guess it must come from being a mid table team for the last 50 years to suddenly finishing 4th..... Or 5th.......
