Happy to hear that a bizarre sub paid off.

Decent tactical nous

Think it was tiredness more than anything with Coutinho. Rodgers has recently said it'll take a while for him to be able to get through 90 minutes.

Seriously though. I fucking hate them.
I hate their fans more than United fans. They are such vile arrogant above their station cockends.

A bit of that but mostly it was about us being overrun in midfield. We were much steadier after the sub.

I thought we had the wind taken out of our sails a fair bit by a series of poor decisions by the ref and linesman in the 1st half. We had a number of fouls on Suarez overlooked and a few terrible off-side calls that broke up some great attacking opportunities when we had them on the ropes at around 30 minutes. The refereeing standard was generally shocking, although I do think he handled some of the crap between players well.

Wasn't the greatest of performances but was a great result. We got a bit of luck which is well overdue and finally beat a top 4 team. Keep it up Reds !

I'm glad I'm not alone in my hatred of that pathetic, small, self obsessed club. Their fans are the sorest losers on the planet, and generally a bunch of cunts.

I've only just seen it. I'm kicking whilst he's down. This man wears spurs tops to work at least three times a week. He deserves it.

He's a bellend. Spurs win fucking nothing regularly, even when they've had their best team in a long while. We churn out a trophy regularly even when we've had one of the worst teams in our history. The muppet.

We definitely weren't at our best today. We were very poor in our passing game, particularly Lucas and Enrique. Johnson wasn't at the races at all and others like Sturridge may as well have stayed at home.

But what I really like about today, is that we had the fight in us. Going 2-1 down against a very strong Spurs team doesn't give anyone much motivation. But we fought tooth and fucking nail to get that victory. I can't remember the last time we did that, an got rewarded with 3 points. And I loved every minute of it.

We beat spurs .

Fuck Bale.

Suarez is class.

Were a cb pairing away from being a member of the top 4 club.

He had a good game, but I'm not sold on him ... He's had positional issues like the ones that haunt Vermaelen ...

He's been magnificent every time I've seen him play. Very comfortable with the ball too, a complete defender. Spurs' weakness is their other defenders(although Dawson is having a decent season and Walker is very good going forward) and Verthongen has to hold the fort quite often.

Arsenal were 'this close' to destroying him numerous times ... We harassed him a few times and got him into two very stick situations. I think he's excellent on the ball and took his goals excellently today, but he's never going to be a defender like Vidic, or Carra in his prime ... I think he's the kind of defender Barca will eventually sign.

Didn't see the Spurs-Arsenal so can't comment on that. I didn't see him do much wrong today apart from one incident which maybe should have resulted in our penalty.

He won't be a Vidic, no. He would be a perfect partner for him though.

First loss since Dawson got into the team (13 games) and they had only conceded 11 goals.

Great team performance

Incidentally, Modo is at the match

*beams *
Lol. I was on the main stand and he scored just infront of me.
I also slagged him off before he scored, considering that he didn't do much before the goal.

All in all it was a wonderful game, freezing cold though.
I'm posting from the plane.
Here's a picture from the game, that was my view. Now imagine Downing scoring.
I'll post it when I get home

Have yet to see these positional issues tbh. He's looked a class act every time i've seen him - a good reader of the game and tackler, very assured on the ball and a big threat from set-pieces.

Spurs do have some height and power in their team - Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Dembele, Bale, Adebayor - all big lads.

It amazes me for such a big guy, that Bale is such a pussy, hes a bigger pussy than Ronaldo. He was still going on about Gerrards fair challenge in the tunnel before the second half, was funny when the ref told him to walk on.

him and suarez seemed to have a nice rapport, chatting just before the 2nd half whistle and when dembele had a go at suarez, bale cam over and calmed things down and patted suarez - fair dos to him.

Radio 5 live, these cunts talking about Suarez 'going down' in the area, rather than Spurs giving away a peno. I hate the media.

AVB gracious in the radio interview. Says it was 'right decision'. Disappoints the fuck out of the interviewer.
Was listening to all this bollocks on the way back , Ian Paine was a prick, the Spurs fans were pricks, one was going on about Gerrard should have been off, and Suarez was cheating. Luckily some sensible fans were on tonight, oh and Alan Green did his bit although he says he had not seen the game
