Apparently Tony Barret has reported that torres is not happy and may seek to leave. This ties in with the rumours flying round that a number of key players are not happy with him at all including Reina. Can't get a link to the article as its behind the paywall.
 
There's 'talk' that Torres refused to play tomorrow. If that's true, he should be jettisoned out the club at the earliest opportunity.

The vibes coming out of the club are bad at the moment which is a shame because we should all be celebrating getting rid of the parasites and feeling happy. God I hope NESV live up to our hopes.

So long as he's sold outside of England for 35m ish. Fine.

Infact, if he went to Man Citeh for 50m+ I wouldn't mind. That's enough for me to forgive him. He's playing like a man who wants to leave right now anyway.

Will they pay back their wages? Will they use their wages rtoi reimburse those fans who have travelled over to Italy to watch the team? Will they fuck. They might have a grievance against Hodgson but you still 'work' for your employer.
 
I hope this is an exaggeration.

I have no problem at all with Torres saying that he's unhappy with Hodgson and making it clear that he won't seek to stay at a club with no ambition; i.e. one with Hodgson as the manager.

But he should make it clear that he'll continue to play in the meantime.
 
If that's true about Nando, who can blame him? He gets thrown to the wolves by the Manager who talks about him 'lacking confidence', afew weeks after Fergie takes a pop and is not defended by him. If Nando lacks confidence, it's in Hodgson's management

Really guys. Before quickly jumping on to the hate Torres bandwagon, please stop and think for a moment. I would be totally shocked if Torres said he would refuse to play for our club while he is still getting paid every week. He may have shown dissent (perfectly within his rights), but i don't think he is the kind of player to refuse playing.

He has come across as a down to earth guy, who speaks very politely from day 1. I don't really think there is truth in this. There is no point in being an Internet Warrior and holding Torres to a higher moral.

We also don't know how Miserable they are feeling to play under Hodgson.

Anyway, i don't think he has stepped over the line at all.

Despite everything, Torres is worth sticking with, and Roy, well, isn't.

Get him happy and injury free and we've got the worlds finest striker. He pisses me off at times, but I want him here.

Yup.

Even though Torres has been acting like he doesnt care since the start of the season I know who I rather have at the club.
 
To be honest I have been so shocked by the way this team have performed under Roy that I am not surprised. We are talking about players with extreme ambitions and hunger to win us the league and cl, and they are given an idiot who is going on and on about what help Halmstad in 1978. I am schocked about our safe hands, and they will not only stear irreplacable players out of the club, but also loose the interest by millions of fans all over the world.
 
I really don' think that we need the media to fuel any rumours about player disenchantment. They look devoid of passion and form. Gerrard and Meireles are about the only 2 payers who have shown any kind of commitment on the field. The rest have been absolute rubbish.

Now before jumping the gun and villifying the players, remember that these rumours are unsubstantiated so check yourselves. Having said that, any player refusing to play for the club should be kicked to the curb. Those are not the type of dissenters/players we need at the club. We need a unified team performing at the top of their game and getting us results.

Come on you REDMEN, stand up and be counted!
 
The love affair with Torres has kinda been over for a while now anyway.

We won't get as much as we had originally hoped - certainly nowhere near the 70M that was once bandied about - but 40M would give us enough to try and replace him hopefully.

I would be very disappointed if Reina did end up leaving as well however.
 
Over the course of two years losing Alonso, Mascherano, Torres and Reina?

That's a fucking disaster. "The best midfield in the world" completely dismantled, 0 strikers of quality, losing the best we've had in over a decade, and losing the best goalie we've had in fucking ages.

Something to think about as we circle the fucking bowl.

I have to believe Reina won't go, once we do the necessary.
 
I very much doubt that Torres has refused to play. Doesn't sound like him at all. Let's just get all the facts, before we lynch him. Reina, Torres, Gerrard, Meireles and Lucas haven't travelled. Could be for the same reason, and not refusing to play..
