There’s planet of desperation in those numbers.

João Felix is a bit like Werner, a good player who went to the wrong club. Atlético, and the player himself (or his representatives) didn’t just think this one through— he’s an ill-fit from the get go and now he’s pretty much stagnated as a player.

Can you say that three of them have been successful at all, let alone "most successful"? Besides Virgil, the rest are flops or too soon to tell. Maybe Pogba and Maguire are 2 and 3, if it came to a push but that's sad.

I’d argue that Harry Maguire has been invaluable and an immensely successful signing for us as a Man Utd player.

He's done better than I thought he might, arguably better than they thought too as he was reportedly not their first choice. Fair play to them for making the appointment and to him for such a good start.

I know not a top 4 transfer but I assume it'll get interest

Everton have contacted Villa about the potential to transfer Danny Ings

Wouldn't surprise me if they came back tomorrow and met the release up front.

Nothing could stop them doing so if they really wanted him.

I really believe that Felix could be an outstanding talent in the right team...hope it's not Chelsea......wish we were in for him

Anyone that will be redundant now that Chelsea are buying two new teams?
That new guy is a true nut job at Chelsea. Any manager that come in will probably be confused as he'll on what to do with all those players, especially if the balance is not correct. Say what you want about Klopp being stubborn, but his statement about getting the right player and having a small squad to manage brings a bit of sanity compared to whatever Chelsea want to become right now. It will take then 6 months to find out what will work as a team with all those players.

[article]Number of games to reach 20 wins as manager of Manchester United:

27: Erik ten Hag
31: Jose Mourinho
36: Louis van Gaal
40: Sir Matt Busby
42: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
45: Sir Alex Ferguson
68: Tommy Docherty[/article]

They were always going to get it right eventually.

I'm just surprised (and delighted) it took them so long.

Lets hope they dont get their shit together 100 %, but sadly it looks like the Ten Hag was the right appointment.
According to ESPN, Utd are favorites to sign Kane next summer. If they get him, CL football and a few other decent signins then they will be title challengers next season.

And we are in the middle of a rebuild. Faaaack.

For the record, despite this improvement, they are just 2 points more than what they were last season at this point.
