why they are an awful negative percentages team with no real flair or creativity? One of the worst teams to watch in the league. Almost like a more workman like version of Rafas team, really dont like them

Because there probably the least equiped team to build on this season. City get in the champs leauge then they will attract the massive players with the cash. Would make it massively difficult to get back in next season.

If they don't get CL qualification they'll most likely have to cut spending fairly dramatically (unless Lerner wants to pump in more money). I don't see the same happening with Spurs or Man City.
 
i think this season will be make or break for Lerner, if they dont make it he wont fund a spree to catch city etc so this would probably be the end of them, plus i couldnt bear watching them bore europe to death every week

city getting 4th is like utd getting to 19 titles before us, inevitable, people who think otherwise are deluded, us throwing a game to chelsea might buy us another year or maybe 2 but they will almost certainly win another title before us
 
City will get in the top four sooner rather than later, that is true. The hope is that we've hit rock bottom this year and that in future seasons we'll be better equipped to cope with the challenge they and others pose. It might not turn out that way, but it's all we've got to hang onto right now.
 
If city get the champions leauge they willl shut out any chance of us getting in next season, and probably a good few seasons after that. I would rather see villa bore us for one season than see city get in season after season at our expense.

The only way that would change is if we got owners who could compete with city, chelsea. You can say UTD and arsenal as well as there bankrolled by massive stadiums.
 
Anyone who even remotely considers M'ON a viable replacement for Rafa should be shot - the most one-dimensional, bore-me-to-fucking-tears footballing philosophy of a manager there is. I'd seriously consider whether I could bother watching us if he came. Then again, some on here were advocating McCleish would be worth a chance not so long ago.

I see M'ON's rumoured this morning to be after 4 Irish players in the summer.

Is the myopic cunt even aware there are footballers outside of the British isles?
 
Sampdoria have just equalised against Roma who really need to win this to keep their title hopes in their own hands.

I wonder how Aquilani feels about potentially missing out on a title with Roma.
