Newcastle one up away to West Ham and looking very comfortable.

I thought Allardyce's sides were meant to have a bit of fight about them?

His West Ham side is pretty awful.
 
Make that 2-0. Awful awful defending.

Unless they get some signings in they could well go down.
 
My satellite is still down until Monday so I switched on Chinese terrestrial TV to see which match they were covering and misunderstood what they said, I thought it was FT Arsenal 0-0 Fulham and I was very pleased for 15 mins or so .... *sighs*
 
Was hoping Swansea could do us a favour today against Spurs but they're looking woeful in the first 20 mins or so. Just keep giving away cheap possession in their own half.
Will be lucky to get a draw here.
 
it was always going to be this way ...apart from his initial job at Bronby , laudrup doesn't stay long in jobs .I don't think he feels the need to prove himself in management . I'd be surprised if he's there next season .
 
i tell you , this fight for 4th could get dirty ...i hope we are up for it , i don't think it's as much a certainty as some seem to believe .
 
Fuck Spurs. Sherwood and Adebayor will drop soon enough.

Its so close that it could go all the way to the final day.
Everton, Spurs, us and Utd. It will be a very tough fight.
 
Spurs play City at home when we play Everton.

That game against the Blueshite will be so massive now.

I was just taking the piss because I think there's roughly three kinds of posters on this site ...

1) optimistic bellends
2) pragmatic bellends
3) pessemistic bellends

3 normally grates on me because what is the point of being a footy fan without hope? Sure it will be a struggle to remain in the top 4 - the jump from where we were when Rafa left us to getting back into 4th spot is much much larger than it ever was due to what city brought to the table, and the strengthening of two of our 'lesser' rivals (Spurs & Blueshite). Anyone who thought it was easy was just being an optimistic bellend, hopeful n' shit.

If I bore you that much, you really have a great life as I'm probably the greatest thing that ever happened to you dude ... we're like Twins. I'm DeVito and you be the big Austrian!
 
If we dont get 4th, the defence will have to take most of the blame.
Cant keep a clean sheet and concede soft goals.
Need new quality signings at full back and a settled back 4.

Rodgers maybe need some new ideas or a new defensive coach.
