I've just remembered you texted me.

For future reference, it's not worth contacting me after 2pm on week days or at all on the weekend with anything I need to do anything about or remember, because I'm drunk.

Well, can I contact your secretary please?

Send me a timed email to land in my inbox at 9 on Monday. I deal with all that shit with my heart pounding and tears in my eyes.

That might have been me. Or me as well.

Now I can drive I can help you boys out with lifts to & from the airport if you need them when you're over.

Ah it's grand Jon. Thanks though. If we are in town we can hop on the bus from Liverpool One or get a taxi if there are a few of us. Not pricey really. It was just we were stuck for time after the derby so Vlad/Portly drove us straight from the ground to JLA.

If i'm ever stuck to make a kick off, i'll def be hailing a Jon Fox Cab though. Ha.

Vlad offered to pick me up from the airport when I was going to a midweek evening game a good few seasons back. I never got to meet him but he was obviously a huge asset to SCM and his absense leaves a substantial void

I went to a few games under Hodgson so can't be called a glory hunter. Anyone who watched the most rigid 4-4-2 i've ever seen with Joe Cole standing on the halfway line like he was waiting for a throw in has my utmost sympathy. It was fucking well easy to get tickets though

It just makes sense cos I'm so close to the ground (Anfield, not cos I'm dead short).

Top man indeed. His absence is definitely felt.

Ok Count and ILD. I'm resurrecting this thread ( hope Rosco isn't looking).

My contact has come up with zilch so its " die dog or shite the licence!" time.

Anything you can do is a bonus now.

@Jack D Rips, I am not going to be able to be at a computer at eleven o clock Wednesday morning.
I am not sure if @ILD was going to buy tickets using my cards but if he has different account to log in through I will give you my account details and you can try to buy them yourself.

ILD and Count got two me. Delighted with that as it means 9 yearold Stephen can see his first game with his dad. Still hoping to pick one up for myself if not will watch in the pub.

I'll probably be in the pub as I promised a ticket to someone as I thought it would be easy. Can't let them down now so I'll give them mine. Still got fingers crossed that I may salvage a late ken but otherwise, I'm in the King Harry.

Grab hold of Dougie in The Harry. I'm sure he'll be able to sort you a spare mate.

I'm getting home from a week away later today. Does anyone still need anything? I can ask about later.

The site is fucking pointless. Sold out in under 2 mins again.

The site can be tricky but you have to realise that was the late availability sale for a game on this Sunday. The members sale (November) and General sale have already taken place so game was basically sold out months ago. Wednesday was a sale for returns and the likes. It can be a lottery but I think me and @the count have it sussed.

We go the official site and click on update family and friends as a decoy entry to sales page. I waited a min in the queue as I tried this ten minutes before the sales. Once in, I clicked on home game. There was no games available to purchase but I kept refreshing. Then on the stroke of 11am the Swansea game appeared. I immediately went for two in Annie Lower and chances of a pair are higher there. Got them, straight to checkout and job done.

It is getting harder and harder to get tickets.

I haven't renewed my membership since I was away but since im back in Ireland now I will purchasing it for next season. Im planning on building my credits up so i'll have better access for subsequent seasons. First round of sales for next season is in July and I plan to get a ticket for all home games before Xmas. I'll go to a selection and farm out the rest of the games.

I recommend people to buy their own membership card and link them up with family and friends. Stewards are clamping down on card sharing big time.

In what way are they doing that mate?

I think regulars would be fine. But if you walk in bladdered and have no idea how to scan you card or find your seat the steward will be on alert. They have been told to confiscate cards and tell individuals they can collect cards from ticket office with correct ID. Basically they want all match goers to pay for their own membership and stop swapping cards. I've heard it's very hit and miss though. I've never experienced it but lads have told me that they have had their cards taken just out of random selection. Females have also been using male membership cards for years and i've never seen a problem arise. Suprised they aren't clamping down on that to be honest.

The T&C's say cards are non transferrable and in some cases cards have been terminated with the owners losing their credits. Ridiculously harsh.

If you are unlucky and the steward does ask you for ticket info and card I'd suggest you say it is yours but you don't have ID on you to confirm ownership. Another way around it is having a letter from the actual owner giving permission for you to use his/her card. It does sound extreme though and like I've said I've never experienced it but lad I know has had to come over to reclaim membership cards back at the ticket office.

I wonder if any other premier league team has the problem that we do with tickets. Obviously it's great for the club to an extent as they're selling out for every game, months in advance even, but obviously they'd want a bigger ground to make even more money.

I wonder what our home attendances would be if capacity wasn't an issue, say aliens plonked down on anfield a 200k stadium with loads of corporate boxes and the like. I'm convinced we'd do 100k for the big games, and probably about 70k for the rest.

What are the chances of getting two spares for this Woland? Doesn't have to be a pair. Need to check with my mate to see if he can get the time off work too like, so no worries if it's hassle.

I've been able to quite easily get tickets for games for a number of years now but this year it's been really really hard. A few years back I remember I had a couple of tickets that couldn't be given away free !
