Laudrup's started very well with a struggling Mallorca-side.
Just saying.

Where's he from again?

Born in Turkey to a Danish mother and Albanian father.

Yes I'm cautious about second season performance,
Chris Brown with Hull
Paul Jewell - Wigan
The guy at Reading.
All did horribly in their second season.

Before jumpting in the di matteo bandwagon, let's remember he couldn't even beat Liverpool.

That really shouldn't be funny ... But it is

How does Laudrup set up his teams?
[/quote]
Last night away to Valencia they were applying an extremely high pressure from the off. Stole a lot of balls and went 2-nil up before eventually sitting back a little in the second half. Wasn't defensive against Real at home nor away to Barca either (drawed both).
He prefers ball-playing types all over but isn't shy of using strong defenders and forwards. Normally technically gifted players seems to thrive the most under his guidance. Players such as Granero, De la Red and Agger to mention a few.

That'll be the Mallorca in Jutland then. 😉

Unbelievably good header from chicharito in this united - stoke game. Good game this, united lucky to be ahead.
Evra on the left wing for the mancs. Managers playing players out of position, who'd a thunk it.

Navarro gets sent off.
Llorente gets one back, 3-1.
Ref gives a bit of a soft pen against Sevilla. Llorente scores on the rebound. 3-2. Game on.
One minute later, Negredo breaks through to almost score and an absolutely horrendous pen decision is given. 4-2.
