So I read this morning that apparently 1.7m Liverpool shirts have been sold this past year you'd imagine that page would certainly carry on when the new Nike kit releases

So lets say we sell 1.2m shirts over the course of next season , what sort of money in royalties do we make on top of that ?

I think usually it's zero royalties, except for those sold directly through our shops. The money is in the overall deal.

Unless this has been structured differently to most deals?

This deal is different isn’t it? We’ve gone low guaranteed payment with high reward from shirt sales. As we are champions we will sell shit loads round the world.

Is it just shirts or all Nike Liverpool merchandise
All merchandise involved us will be shared.

Our deal is different. We took £39.5m as base fee and 20% of sales.

The old (NB) deal was nothing on shirts or training gear. However the club made all their own separate clothing line & that they got all profit from.

This deal, is a percentage on all shirts & merchandise that Nike mate, & Nike will make a lot more of the other clothing range too.

Yes from hats to socks, to bags, small football, training gear. Best profit margin are the replicas, because it is sold higher than training gear with quite similar polyester material used. With the league title after 30 years, Nike and us are going to make a killing regardless of Covid19. As it is from what I know, they've got backlog orders already.

Also a % on Nike gear in general. So LFC can make profit on wholesaling Nike gear into the UK IIRC if we want to.
