The Special One's special record

Bollocks. He had no money when he won the Champions League with Porto, and at Chavski he had less to spend than Mancini at Citeh, who's busy proving it's NOT as simple as just buying a title.

He acts the cnut, mate, "acts" being the operative word. I think there's more to the man than that (his players love him - even Stevie's a big fan), and I honestly think attacking his record is loopy.

He's a cunt and will always remain so. I couldn't care less what he achieves.

Unless he becomes our manager, which won't happen.

His players would run through walls for him, that's the reason he wins so many trophies.

I'd have him here (should Kenny step down) like a shot.

Who's attacking his record ?

I'm not.

I'm attacking him. Full on.

He IS AN ABSOLUTE CUNT.

You and Stevie can want/love him all you want. He's a self-serving prick and needs to shut ALL of the fuck up.

i believe he plays up to the cunt role, to take the heat off the players. Jose has built this messiah-isitic image of himself so the press want to take him down. All their energy is therefore funnelled against him, not his players.

Oncy was attacking his record just now and you endorsed the post in question.

Let's agree to differ about the man himself. IMO Fabio has it spot on.

You remind me of a history teacher I used to have. We often caught him giving a version different from the textbook and used to take great delight in pointing this out to him, not least because his answer was always: "Book's wrong, I'm right". ;D
Oh PLEASE!! Poor poor Porto the richest club in Portugal who had BASICALLY the entire Portugal golden generation in their team Vítor Baía, Paulo Ferreira, Jorge Costa, Ricardo Carvalho, Nuno Valente, Costinha, Pedro Mendes, Maniche, Deco, Ricardo Costa, José Bosingwa. They beat the mighty Partizan Blegrade, Marseille, Deportivo, Lyon and Monaco to win the cup. The only decent team they beat were United.
And when he took over Chelsea they already were a top 4 side, it is NOTHING like City who have yet to finish in the top 4 under any manager.
He's a fucking conman. And a cunt. And the reason he said he would NEVER manage us is because he needs a limitless budget to compete.
What he is a legend at is picking his time to move on.

What fucking ever, Jules.

You keep holding your breath for Wank Nose.

I bet he never relieves you .

Plus he gets his coats from Matalan.
Jose shops in Tesco's its where he buys his best clothes na na na naaaaa.

Oncy - "the richest club in Portugal"? Is that something like "the tallest of the Seven Dwarves"? Out of those players (minus Brylcreem Boy, who was by far the most talented) I'd have signed Carvalho and that's it. The supposed minnows they beat to win Bigears presumably beat the "decent teams" you're hinting at. And WTF does it matter where Citeh have or haven't been so far? Point is, if it were just a question of money they'd have bought success already.

Themn - I'm not "holding my breath for" the guy (it gets more unlikely with each season that passes that he'll come here) but I'm fed up to the eyeballs of waiting for a league title winner to manage this club. We've got one now, but I'd take Mourinho in a heartbeat if there were a vacancy.
Ronaldo wasnt part of the golden generation, whos best player was probably Rui Costa. The point is they had no compare in that country. THATS why he went there. Fair play he won the champions league, christ even Rafa has won a champions league and hes a useless chancer. Then he went to the RICHEST club in the world and took over a team that was already challenging for titles and spent 100m to succeed. He then left when it looked like his record was about to come to an end and took over THE ONLY remaining ticket in Italy after the corruption scandal. Then he goes to THE RICHEST CLUB in the world......yeah hes a full on risk taker.
Im not really interested in hearing defences of him mate, i know hes a good manager, but hes a prick and as SCB says he shusssshed us and critiscised us and then flat out said he didnt want to come to us EVER. So he can get to fuck. He'll go to city next for sure. Who else is going to bankroll his single handed triumphs.
Whoops and hollers

Lads we all agree that Mourinho is a cunt that wins titles. That's unanimous!

That he picks his teams carefully and choses when to leave, that's his prerogative.

Whatever is said and done, he has always walked away a winner.

I don't care whether he's a cunt or not, if Kenny steps down and Mourinho is available I'd have no problem appointing him. He is not wanted for his charm or ethics but his winning mentality and ability to deliver silverware.

Fuck the moral high ground, I'll take silverware over it everyday!

At this point I wouldn't want Kenny to step down in order to get Jose but, were Kenny to step down of his own choosing or not become manager permanently (for whatever reason), Jose is far and away my top choice.

It might say something about me that I -like- his persona (admittedly cuntish) but I like a winner that rubs people the wrong way. The way he defends his players and gets them playing as a unit and playing at their best is admirable. It's telling that many players whom he has managed continue to extoll his praises long after he has left the team on which they worked together (cf Sneijder, Drogba, Lampard, Carvalho, etc.).

Ha Jesus.

I thought we could discuss the incredible home record of a coach.

Talk about going off the subject.

9 years 9 f&cking years!!

What's the longest Fergie has gone? 2?

Shanks, Bob? 2/3 years tops?

9 years is insane!
