if your talking a front six of lucas, allen, gerrard , suarez, borini , dempsey.......is that really that good ? i mean beyond the aim of 4th would it be good enough to eventually challenge or have we given up on that completely ?

We're not in a position to put together a team to win the thing though. We haven't got the money nor would the right players come.
Whether we like it or not, we're rebuilding and it's going to be a gradual process.
Personally, I think we would be much better with that proposed team, however, I have reservations that it would get us CL footy back.

QPR vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has confirmed that Craig Bellamy is on the club's shopping list as they plot their next transfer move.
Bellamy is currently preparing to represent Team GB at the Olympic Games, but speculation has continued to mount over where he will be plying his trade for the upcoming season.
Brendan Rodgers has expressed a desire to keep the Welshman at Anfield, while Cardiff are thought to be interested in their former player.
Bhatia has confirmed the Hoops are also keen, telling Sky Sports News: "Mark (Hughes) likes to have a long list of players so we'll see what happens.
"We've been a fan of Craig Bellamy for the last few years.
"His is definitely a name that has been mentioned but he's not the only name that we have discussed for that position so we have a few options.
"Mark has loads of names on his list and many of the players we want are wanted by other clubs.
He added: "Whoever Mark settles on, we will do our best to support him."

Saving Private Ryan... Fulham considering swoop for Liverpool flop Babel

Fulham are looking at former Liverpool forward Ryan Babel, 25, who has fallen out with coach Markus Babbel at Hoffenheim.
Babel has scored only five league goals for the Bundesliga club after leaving Anfield in January 2011.
The Holland international spent over three years at Liverpool but failed to live up to his £11.5million price tag.

no and since when does he and Babel play in the same position?

You didn't specify position though - he does fit the criteria though.

Hurry up and get VIP on Xpert eleven - I have Acquilani my team and I wish to sell him to you.

He's money hungry and managed to get carried off injured in the 1st minute if me last game.

After everything we already know and you went and signed Aquilani.............................That says everything really.

SPAIN winger Santi Cazorla has told Arsenal he is prepared to leave Malaga to join them. Arsene Wenger is keen to sign Cazorla, whom he monitored last summer and he is hopeful an offer of €20 million can close the deal.
Negotiations have taken place between the clubs and although Malaga’s initial response was to point to Cazorla’s €45 million buy-out clause, the Spanish club’s worrying financial situation, which could see them relegated if they do not pay outstanding debts, might force them to sell.
Cazorla wants to leave Malaga, the club he joined for €19 million last summer from Villarreal, after wages went unpaid during the campaign and promises were broken.
The 27-year-old has told Malaga of his intention to depart and he has also spoken to Arsenal to tell them he is keen on joining them.
Malaga may facilitate the move but the power vacuum and inertia at the club means the future is uncertain. If Malaga’s Qatari owner, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani, does not inject more money into the club, the sale of Cazorla would represent the swiftest way of the Spanish club covering their debts.
If Malaga do not settle those debts by July 31st they face relegation to Second Division B and the loss of their Uefa licence and Champions League participation.
Considering the wealth of the owners and the more than €150 million poured into the club over the past two years, Malaga’s inertia is baffling.
Cazorla is among four players, alongside Ruud van Nistelrooy, Salomon Rondon and Joris Mathijsen, who threatened to make a formal complaint against Malaga during a meeting with the president of the Spanish players’ union, the AFE, Jose Luis Rubiales, on July 13th.
After the meeting, Rubiales insisted an “important” amount of money was still owed to some players but that others had been paid in full.

I'd love for us to be interested in cazorla . For roughly £15m i reckon he'd be well worth it and would look great in a front 3 with suarez and i presume borini.

Interest stuff about malaga also .

Wagner Ribeiro, agent of Lucas Moura, seems to think his client's move to Manchester United is not happening.
Sao Paulo apparently want £30million for their man, but United haven't quite got to that limit with their offers yet, so Ribeiro isn't optimistic of it going through.
"They have reached their limit," Ribeiro told UOL.
"Lucas Moura won't leave. He is happy at Sao Paulo. we have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now.
"Manchester United made an offer, which was rejected and they won't make another one as they reached their limit."

Tottenham have agreed to sell Gareth Bale to Barcelona for £40million, according to reports in Spain.
There has been much speculation about Bale’s future, with the Nou Camp regularly talked about as a possible destination for the Welshman.
And Marca TV programme, Futboleros, is now claiming the La Liga club have reached an agreement with the north Londoners for the sale of the 22-year-old.
They now need to agree personal terms with Bale and Futboleros are reporting they will offer him a five-year contract on €5million a year.

Tottenham have joined Newcastle and Swansea in the hunt for out-of-favour Hoffenheim winger Ryan Babel.
The ex-Liverpool wide man has been told he can quit the German outfit this summer, after falling out with the club's coaching staff during pre-season.
The 25-year-old has been omitted from the Hoffenheim squad for their Austria training camp, and will now stay behind and train with the reserve team, as he bids to find himself a new club.
Newcastle and Swansea have already expressed an interest in singing the Dutch flyer, and now reports in Holland claim Tottenham are set to join the race.
Hoffenheim, who beat Spurs to Babel's signature in 2007, are ready to take a hefty hit on the £8million they paid Liverpool, by listening to offers of around £3million.
Babel is said to be desperate to return to the Premier League, and is willing to take a cut from his £50,000-a-week wages to seal a switch.

This 88 page thread?

Agreed.
And I thought that putting all the bullshit stories and twitter rumours into one giant thread that you could ignore would make you happy.
Clearly I have a lot to learn master
