I've never quite taken to Rodgers - probably said that before - but there is no denying that when he gets us playing, it's very very good. Also, I like the profile of players we've signed whilst he's been here. I haven't always agreed with the exact choices but the general approach seems to be to target technical attack minded players and that's easy to get on board with.

Yes, I like the type of attacking players he's buying especially Markovic but I still don't get why he went for Balotelli and Lambert who clearly don't fit our style.

Yeah, I think I'd go with this. It's not that I've ever not taken to him, I just don't seem to care as much for his persona or relationship with the fans and media. Maybe that's after having got attached to Dalglish, Benitez and Houllier at first, only to then lose my faith in them. So now I guess I'm just watching the football and enjoying it, if things go tits up then so be it, but I think the style we showed last year is deserving of a break through at some point.

I still think our game is a bit "gung ho" at times. If we could get the stability that we had during Benitez time in charge combined with the attacking prowess of Brendan's tactics we'll be unstoppable.
The goal Swansea scored yesterday, minutes after we scored kind proves my point.

It's rare for me to get attached to our managers so I haven't noticed the same kind of difference. Shanks and the King are the only two for whom I actually developed a personal liking.

I think most of the goals we have conceded have owed much to a carousel of individual failings rather than being ripped apart by incisive attacking play.

Cloggy, I've a lot of time for you as a poster, but other people - and there are a lot of us - have as much right to find Modo tedious as you have not to, and to say so. It could be that you and the few who agree with you about this are right and everyone else is wrong, but somehow I doubt it.

Rodgers said there will be minimal, if any, activity in January window

I'd be disappointed for sure, but unfortunately not very surprised, the reasons being (a) the amount of money we've spent already and (b) our recent upturn in form. There might be money available if we can raise it by selling, but otherwise I'm sure you're right about the loans.

Every single time they say very little activity you can be certain that there will be activity. Fact.
