The Italian stallion

He told Liverpoolfc.com: “I’m so happy to be a Liverpool player. When Richard Hughes called me and he said, ‘Do you want to join Liverpool?’ – and the coach called me – I said yes immediately because I know the history of this club, I know what it represents to the fans.

“So, I’m so happy and I can’t wait to get started.”

During his first interview as a Red, the new No.14 explained to Liverpoolfc.com: "And I just want to say something that stuck to my mind when I was about to land [in] the aeroplane.

"I saw Anfield and as soon as I saw Anfield I said to my wife, 'Put the song on – You'll Never Walk Alone – because I want to imagine myself playing there and hearing the chant of the fans.' It was just a fun bit."

Not a single word about mountains or pasta

EXCITING. The lad with good hair (Hughes) did good it seems on this one.

I think that he speaks Italian might have helped.

Another Foxy FSG signing - good value, skillful player, let's see.

Overall, it shows it helps to have some cunning linguists on our back office team

I dont care , WE SIGNED SOMEONE AT LEAST !!!!! Lets celebrate you bitches !!! So happy, I gove FSG 3/10 for this window now, thats a 25% increase from 0.5/10. Also by getting a player in a position that we are not desperate for Hughes has proved he is a Mans Man, by getting the wrong shopping item, not what the wife asked for but still he returned home with something waiting for the wife to give him a right bollocking when in our case we start losing midfielders to injury.

Actually Gabe Marcoti said that he Chiesa speaks perfect English due to him going to an international school. His dad was a footballer so he could afford a very good education for Chiesa.

I'm going to go out on a limb her and say something that some of you might find controversial.

I don't think his wife is that hot.

I think it's on you guys if you can't understand Rafa. His speech is at a level where TV producers allow him to speak at length (that last part they scarcely have a choice about).

Fair enough. And I'm sure the esquad players could understand him fine as well
