The Italian stallion

I hate the phrase "3 games a week" as yes in isolation we might do 3 games in 7 days but then if you use that logic you only have 2 the next 7, and the next 7 unless you start double counting games.

We would on average play twice a week. Once at a weekend (or Monday night) and once midweek (either domestic or European cup).

Lol and I was only doing it as a wind up, too.

Do they go the training ground or is it to a hospital for the medical then Chapel Street offices for the signing of a contract?
All done at the training ground, including the contract signing, as a rule - we only use Chapel Street on very rare occasions (e.g. I remember Taiwo and his family turning up quite late in the evening on deadline day). Think he was seen as low-key and I suspect the Melwood admin team had gone home so they sent him to Chapel Street.
Seem to remember Nathaniel Clyne signing at Chapel Street too, but think that was because Ian Ayre couldn't get to Melwood to sign for the club. They then did his photo shoot on the balcony with the Liver Bird on top of the Liver building in the background.
We also had a player's Dad turn up one day, pissed as a fart, and demanding his boy be allowed to leave, apparently because he (the Dad) stood to gain financially if he did. And no bugger wanted to go out to reception to sort it because he was a notorious pain in the arse. The player in question, famously, on this forum at least, didn't even play for the reserves.

Next important thing is squad number.

Wears 22 for Juve
14 for Italy?

Both free at the moment

Linda is dead.

Long live Lucy Bramani!
I'm told that during a meeting about the Main Stand, one of the architects referred to the "plant deck", meaning the area where all the generators and other control equipment was based. Linda thought it was great that we had such a facility in the stadium, and thought it would be amazing if we were to grow some of our own vegetables.
Nobody was brave enough to correct her.

Now Hughes has dusted off his Italian black book, any chance we might raid skint Inter for the other Italian stallion, Bastoni?
