I know it's only one game but he looks like a mature player, with talent and brains and a bit of fight too. I like how he shields the ball with his body – very difficult to nick it off him. He tracked back no problem. Passing was crisp and timely (apart from that overhit pass that let to a dangerous Bournemouth counter – that was naive), I love how he has the confidence to turn and face the goal almost any time he receives the ball, the run beyond the defensive line for the goal was lovely and exactly what the likes of Lallana and Coutinho don't do enough of. His first couple of corners were shite, but as he picked up in confidence the deliveries markedly improved and the free-kick at the end was sweetly struck. Finally his understanding and chemistry with both Firmino and Clyne is refreshing since so many of our attacking players have no chemistry between them whatsoever.
Overall, a great debut and I'm excited to see how he develops. On this evidence he seems to have enough trickery and physicality to play on the wing and that could be his ticket to making it in this team.
