It's bollocks though, he's paid in sterling into an English bank account, so he's paid only abuot 10% less. What he, or any other player decides to do with that afterwards would make it THEIR choice. So when a player announces a new contract for GBP 100k a week, in actuality, 50% of that gets pissed away in taxes?

What's the deal for these footballer's nowadays?

I guess they didnt read the whole glossy brochure. It is a nice page back there with a pic of him telling that he is the best goalscorer around!!!
