i don’t think his all round game in midfield will be adequate and they won’t be building the team around him to compensate or give him the position he’ll need to shine. i also get the impression he has lost interest in being a fullback and won’t have the enthusiasm or concentration to play there well if that’s what they ask of him.

might well be wrong but their fans aren’t very forgiving either, it won’t be straightforward imo

Fair enough. I think if he were going there he'd have to be comfortable doing it at right back as he's not getting into that midfield.

And yes, their supporters are ferocious.

yea that’s probably another reason why it wont happen, the two parties disagreeing over whether he’s a fullback or a midfielder.

you can just imagine the fans getting on him for getting skinned or switching off once and it snowballing

If it’s between Trent or Gallagher then Trent in midfield every time.
Anyway, I have to back Trent since that thick twat Rooney has joined in Trent hate. Fck him, come on Trent.

We’re selling ours for wayyyyyy more than that. We are also probably looking post-Ali too.

Alternatively - it’s pure bollocks, we’ve not made any bids or have any interest in signing him - but someone’s trying to get an increased offer out of Juve.

A bit of a stretch? Sure... but... it's still just a little too close for comfort.

Calafiori is a great player, but wouldnt surprise me to see him stay at Bologna and play CL footy there.

Is there an exception to the Italian rule if it’s a defender? I guess Dossena was a defender and he was pretty meh, but they have a pretty good track record with CBs.
