New right-back

Or if Harvs did an Agger Special Elbow on Trent.

Aka the People's Elbow.

Of the options I've seen linked over recent months then Frimpong is my clear favourite. There's conflicting reports on whether his release clause has expired or is still in play, which will be key. Eitherway with Xabi likely to move on then it might be a good time for him to test himself at a bigger club.

From what I've seen of him I think he could play anywhere down the right flank and provide some real pace and dynamism. I'm not sure how he is defensively but Konate is used to covering for a passenger.

We'll never replace Trent like for like, but I do think it's key his replacement can create a spark or a moment out of nothing in their own way.

@rurikbird

I don't know - for those going for Bradley as full time replacement - I don't think it will work - as I think he will be injury prone long-term. As someone pointed out - he is very functional and I think long term a better defender than Trent is and will ever be.

All I would like is a player that is good defensively - measured in attack (i.e. supports at the right time), is fast enough to not fall behind a VR/Mbappe by too much, and is good at dealing with dribblers.

I would be happy with that.

Bradley will be given the chance to stake his claim and after another years experience, will be much better prepared, equipped and ready to go.

He can be got at defensively in 1v1 situations (the Brighton cup game springs to mind) and if he can tighten that side of his game up then I don't see why he can't take over. Besides it's not as if he loses every battle or jogs back and a lot of the times he's looked edgy, it's come alongside another inexperienced player in Quansah.

Get Bradley playing another 15-20 games this season next to Konate, someone like a Konate can make others around him look better in a way Quansah doesn't yet know how to do.

LB is a FAR bigger priority for me that RB, even when TAA leaves us... Bradley is ready to step up and be our starter, and there's good cover for him if he's out, in Joe and Stefan (when he comes back).

We'll be ok at RB - It's the other side of the pitch that we desperately need to bring somebody in.

I’d fancy a low cost gamble on Justin from Leicester. Was v promising before he broke his leg. Showing signs of getting form back, could be rotated with Bradley.

A young option i like is Hickey at Brentford.

Yes, we have to continue the trend of having right backs with first name as surname.

I'd be happy giving it to Bradders and getting an older experienced head like Trippier (maybe someone better/younger) in as cover and to give him some rest

The commentator when we played them was saying how the Leicester fans were lambasting him for his recent form.

Fair - I have only seen him in highlights. On paper feels a 'value buy' in the summer if we need as he'd probably be available for £5m, but the fact he is also speaks volumes.
