The Irish-American part... 🙂

I don't know about Ireland but USA have on several occasion tried to tie him to their Int. setup but he has chosen Denmark.

*As a type of player he is more or less everything you would've hoped Lucas to be. Got a lot of the same good traits as Lucas, only faster, stronger in the air and he chips in as well. A very honest player that will fit in incredible well with a team like Watford, and he could eventually end up in a top 6 club I believe.

*If this post doesn't get a first like out of @Ryan nothing ever will.. he might even be wearing manly, fashionable sandals too.

What am I supposed to be liking? The fashion? The Lucas reference? I'm confused.

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette linked with a move to Anfield.

The 25-year-old has fleetingly been mentioned with Liverpool in the past and appears one of those players destined to forever be considered by Premier League clubs.

According to French newspaper Le 10 Sport, they say Jurgen Klopp is waiting in the wings to hijack Arsenal’s bid to sign the Lyon man, who has also been linked with West Ham. The player apparently has a £34.2m release clause which Arsene Wenger wants to activate, but now the Reds will supposedly consider likewise - but only when Christian Benteke leaves Anfield.

I've love Lacazette at Anfield as I've mentioned many times .. however this is likely just shite and if it really is us or Arsenal then they hold most of the aces.

Sevilla sporting director Monchi has confirmed interest in both Joe Allen and Luis Alberto.

On Allen (and Brazilian midfielder Ganso, also linked), he says:
Ganso and Allen aren’t the only players that fit in our plans.
They are on our list and they comply with the profile that we are searching for.
On Alberto, he adds:
We received an offer from Luis Alberto’s agent.
We’re assessing it, but we haven’t started talks with Liverpool. He fits in our game style and can be an interesting option for us.

BREAKING: Sky sources: Juventus reject £38m bid from Manchester City for defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Witsel - Chelsea or Everton
Neves - I think we have a shot, us or Manure
Lacazette - will stay at Lyon
Zielinski - yup, Napoli

Hasnt Zielinski already said that he wont sign for Napoli?
If we are interested we have a chance of getting Neves.
Lacazette seems to be staying for one more year.

Witsel can sign for Everton with the quoted 28,5 mill fee and 100k a week wages.

Big N O to Sissoko.

If we're buying anyone from Newcastle it should be Wijnaldum. Not that I think we need him mind.

Who??? Still if it means Balo is off our books - fine by me!

Serie A club Crotone's president Raffaele Vrenna says he has made an approach for Mario Balotelli to the Liverpool forward's agent.
Crotone are preparing for their first ever season in Italy's top flight following promotion last season and Vrenna wants Balotelli, 25, to spearhead their attack, saying the move would be mutually beneficial.
"I've got to admit that I have called his agent Mino Raiola to talk about Balotelli," Vrenna told Gazzamercato.it. "Crotone has the ideal surroundings for a young talented player to grow and show himself off.
"We could be the right place to relaunch an incredible talent like Balotelli, who has unfortunately had a couple of seasons which were not particularly inspiring."
Sources close to Liverpool have told ESPN FC that they are currently unaware of any interest from Crotone in their striker.
Balotelli is currently back training with Liverpool, where he still has two years to run on his contract, after a loan spell with AC Milan last season but appears unlikely to remain at Anfield.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has also expressed an interest in the forward, who was one of the biggest names in world football four years ago when his brace sent Italy into the final of Euro 2012 at the expense of Germany.
He managed just one league goal during his season-long loan with Milan, who declined the chance to make his move to permanent this summer. He also found the back of the net only once in 16 Premier League games for the Reds.

Agreed, but I've got a feeling he'll consider them beneath him even if by some fluke they can meet his salary demands. Sampdoria, who are a bigger name in Serie A by some margin, have also expressed an interest, but this isn't the first time they've done so and he turned them down before.

I would pay the bugger off if he doesn't go for one of these deals. Enough already. The sooner we can forget the great lummox ever darkened our door, the better.
