Summer Silly Season 2016

I'm bemused we've seemingly done all our business. Especially given we are going to be running a profit (yes, I know it's not that simple!) this summer. Given the apparent reluctance to add to the squad, Klopp should be satisfied with the squad, but how can that be when, on the face if it, we've a battle on our hands to finish in the top 6, never mind the top 4. Never mind winning the thing.

What's going on?

I am equally bemused. We desperately needed a new goalkeeper, new CB and more pace in attack, so no complaints with Karius, Matip and Mane (albeit only Mane has shown any promise and quality so far, with the other two restricted by injury).

But we also very clearly needed a quality midfield enforcer, a left-back and a new striker - especially with Benteke sold.

That's at least three players short of what was required.

Baffling. And it will cost us. I predicted 6th. That's as good as it is going to get.
 
Yep this is all completely crazy. A new GK and deffo a new LB are fully needed but it's not going to happen is it?!. I always hold my hand up and confess I don't really know much about the nuances of football. (my knowledge of cricket though is unsurpassed 😉) However even I know we need strengthening in those areas. If a fucking numpty like me knows it needs sorting then fucking sort it!
 
We dont need one more striker.
We do need a midfielder though. I've accepted that Milner is our new left back this season.

Oh yeah I forgot we have a new one. 😀 Is he the actual starter though? I thought he was a replacement to Brad Jones. I did say I was a bit of a numpty when it came to football knowledge so forgive a brother.

We actually got two new goalkeepers

The old one we also got is the Brad Jones replacement.

Brad is actually getting starts for Feyenoord by the way.

I dont think hes a goalscoring midfielder. But I think he would have more if he wasnt perma crock.
I do think he has ability. Just never shows it.

I think (maybe its hope) Klopp is going to make a lot of 6CM posters eat their words. He's building something and doing it the right way. We looked shit everytime we bought 5-7 new starters. He's had a positive effect on so many of these players already and is building a unit.

Yeah. Amazingly that is the second highest price ever paid by Ajax. I can see them moving him on for a fair bit more in a couple of years.

I am looking on here and other places every day to hear any news - I cannot believe we are just going to stop; people keep saying we signed 7 new players - but at least 4 of them are back-end boys. We need to be able score on a regular basis which we fail to do. I want us to sign someone else like Mane - what the fuck Mr. Klopp ?
 
Its surely too late to sign genuine first team players. Unless we pay x5 their value. Nobody will sell their no1 left back without a replacement lined up.

The best we can hope for is an outcast, loan or diamond in the rough.

I think we have had enough of the outcast, loan, and rough diamonds - we need genuine shit.. the good stuff.
