Yes there is. "Superior" I'll give you (I rate Martial highly and am nervous about him and Ibrahimovic together) but "vastly" is exaggerated.
I don't get why people think martial is particularly sensational. He's a good player, but he's not particularly a great finisher, not a great crosser, he is quick, and decent technically.

I think that underrates him TBH. From what I've seen he's an excellent finisher, and crossing isn't the main thing expected of a striker (unless you're Woy Hodgson telling Kane to play wide).
Sinclairs fee from Watford seems to be done, we'll recieve 4 mill £ appaz. Thats a very good fee for him.

It's a good fee but it isn't OTT. Sinclair has talent and in an ideal world I'd have liked to have kept him and had Klopp work with him.
Agree, but I wonder if his talent is matched by the requisite attitude to become a really top player.
I think Thierry Henry comparisons are valid, up to a point. Martial is also a tricky and pacy winger with unusually cool and clinical finishing ability, which makes you think that with years and maturity he can develop into a devastating centre-forward, mirroring Henry's development under Wenger. But I have trouble seeing this happening under Mourinho – as far I remember he likes to play with either more orthodox wingers (Robben, Duff, Gudjonssen) or hard-working strikers (Eto'o, Pandev) moved to the wing. Can't see Martial playing centrally with him and he might not be hard-working enough to play on the wing for Mourinho's liking.
Can you really call Gudjonssen a 'orthodox winger'? He was more of a AM/ST

There's also loads of reports saying we are "willing to spend £25m" on Dahoud. Now I'm naturally a pessimist about this sort of signing, and don't expect either to happen, but I still take some solace in the idea that we might be willing to spend a large amount of money on a central midfielder.
Yeah, I agree. Witsel, Hamsik, Dahoud; we're being linked with high energy quality midfielders who actually have a goal in them too. Would be nice.
