But this is what some people were saying last summer about our midfield. I genuinely don't want to find ourselves putting fires out every year because of loyalty. No one is saying drop Virgil, but surely it's in our interests to get someone in to compete with him

Maybe it does make sense. We all know Madrid want Mbappe and were probably hoping to sign him on a free next season. Now he's up for sale this summer are they gonna let him slip through their fingers again? However they've already budgeted 90m for Jude. How are they going to afford another £180m? Someone's going to have to be sold

We need another 2 mids, and a defender and the bar is not that high....press resistant with an ability to run, we dont even need goals from them as they wull end up as recycling merchants under Klopp. We played with 9 men for 2/3 of the season, as we all know Henderson and Fabinho were non existent in that midfield and TAA was looking like a spaced out individual. So the bar is very low to improve that midfield, none of this too many signings would take time to integrate bollox, whats so sophisticated about running around like a donkey ?
