Summer rebuild 2023

The only Twitter source I find reliable is the Official one when they’re posting a picture of someone signing a contract while wearing a Liverpool scarf…

I suppose these days it would have to have a “signing day” video compilation attached.

Everything else is bollocks designed to troll Bluebell & Moron.

Yeah but that's boring. What fan doesn't wanna know which players their clubs are being linked with.

Someone out there in the twitterverse will know something before the club announces it....like I could accidentally run into a player and his entourage we've been linked to whilst picking someone up at the airport or something and suddenly that gets blown on twitter to mean ABC.

We want to monitor the flights into JLA, track the sprinter van, the babelcopter, we wanna see the leaked photos of Fekir in a red shirt giving his interview. This is what we live for! This is the Liverpool way!!!

Yeah… but Moron & Bluebells heads explode every time we don’t sign some fucker that some random other fucker on Twitter has linked us to.

He is listing up all his midfielders, before asking us to tell him which kind of midfielder we need.

He’s saying.. “I have here in my hands last season’s contribution from Arthur & Keita”.

So let them.

A classic meltdown sometimes makes for great reading.

It’s coming for sure.

Like yours when Donkey Brain spends the first half of the season looking gormless on the bench before being loaned out Glasgow Celtic in January.

Do you not mean 2nd half?

I don't do meltdowns my man, I only converse in constructional meaningful debates and warranted critique.

End of the day there's going to be people left egg faced once he makes you all eat your words.

LOL... @moron can speak for himself... Yes I was pissed off, I was warning people we could finish outside the top 4 if we didn't sign 2 MFs in the summer. In the winter I was more pissed, not because we signed Gakpo, a player I advocated (signing in a prior window) but we didn't again sign a MF. This window we were told Klopp will be backed.... They got Mac 10, and hopefully 2-3 more MF. I would be disappointed to miss out on Thuram, Kone and Viega but as long as Klopp gets in 4 players I know we can challenge

Honestly crazy to me how many people look past Nunez all because of the price tag, football really isn't for some people.

Now it's all about being the perfect glove to fit what size hand the club is, if the glove is too big you're shit....if the glove is too small you're shit, if the glove snaps easily you're shit, if the glove isn't the right colour and brand you're shit, if the glove is made of stuff that's too slippery you're shit, if the glove is made of stuff that's too firm you're shit.

I know and I am not moaning about or asking why we haven't got anyone in. My priority is the MF and I've said if they get in 4 MFs the can use Steph, Fabs and Hendo to play where it's required. If we get 3 MFs I will still be content. 2 MFs I will worry. If we just end up with one, too right I will rant

I don’t know about you lot but I’m about ready to break into John Henry’s lair and defecate on his silken nest covers if we don’t sign some more midfielders right now

I’ve long been awaiting for someone to team up with me on this.

Is Klopp praying?

According to reports from Spain, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to have Federico Valverde in his sights at Anfield, but the Real Madrid midfielder certainly won’t come cheap.
El Nacional have claimed that the Uruguayan could be jettisoned by the LaLiga giants, amid the imminent arrival of Jude Bellingham and a loss of form since returning from the World Cup.
The Reds are already believed to have told Los Blancos that they’d be interested in signing the 24-year-old for an initial €60m (£51.5m), while also communicating a willingness to bid €80m (£68.7m) up front plus €20m (£17.2m) in add-ons.
However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that the 14-time champions of Europe won’t entertain any offers of less than €100m (£85.9m) straight.

I love this great negotiating tactic they seem to think we have:

"I'd like to buy him for 60M, but am willing to go to 80M + 20M" ... duh!

Mate, windows can be broken into, think of me as someone who is knocking on the window and shouting..."sign some fucking midfielders you FSG cunts".

@StevieM - totally wrong again, I have every right to explode this window, they the owners sacrificed an entire season to a paying support of LFC saying we are gonna get this so called player and it aint the first time either. I dont come on here and ask for super stars, its never been the LFC way, and i am not even asking for Valverde. But unlike you and other "top reds" - I know we need to sign at least 3 mids, and a defender this transfer window to even have a chance of getting top 4. If we get the numbers I am asking for we may even win the league if the players fit. I dont think any Liverpool supporter should accept any excuse from this ownership of ours £150M minimum spend this summer is a must, and another 100M next summer. Thats what the price of ownership of this club should be for any owner of this club.

Why don't you just wait to see what the club does mate. There's no point ranting like a loon.
A: it's not very productive
B: think of your health

I am waiting, I just think people on here are winding me up by saying I want anyone people are talking about. But I also take it as an opportunity to remind people how we have been let down in successive transfer windows by this ownership, and their lack of spending even when were at the top. I honestly think we should sign midfielders and keep them for 4 seasons now and sell them regardless of how good they are. Under Klopp they will be on the treatment table more often than not due to his demands.

Seriously just don't let anyone get to you so easily. There's time in the window to put the things right. You have to give credit to the owners for what they have achieved. Remember in 2010 we were days for being bankrupt. Since then look at the money invested in infrastructure, two new stands, new training ground, won every cup possible whilst competing with a bunch of cheating *£&#@

Have the owners made mistakes? Sure they have, have they learnt from those mistakes? I'd like to think they have and are trying to right those as we speak.

Don't forget the transfers don't just fall on the owners, the manager and scouting also have a part to play in all of this. Did we really need to get Nunez last summer if we knew we would be weak in midfield? Etc etc

Now. Is that the kind of shit klopp won't enjoy? Outspoken and borderline questioning

I don’t particularly like it but he may well be speaking from the perspective of wanting to bring one of his Frenchie buddies in, obviously Mbappe

I'm sure it was just caught up in 1 big mistranslation and what he really meant to say was the board and owners better fucking hurry up and pull their fucking fingers our their crack holes and get moving otherwise if we keep fucking up every window then we ain't doing shit and quite frankly I can't be putting up with shit.

Point taken, but FSG did the right thing at the time we needed them, and they cannot own this club and make us compete against the monsters we will start facing, Klopp is the only thing that has kept them in this game for so long, and we have accepted their under-investment. Yes we did need to spend on a striker given that Mane left, but I am not just talking about last season, they have stayed well out of it for too long. This club cannot go back to being a just a team that will accept top 4 or a regular Europa Cup team. I blame the owners totally for the season just gone, and why Klopp can just sit their and accept it - where is Klopp's ego when it comes to winning and competing ?

You could replace the minutes of ox, keita and milner with one player.

And we have replaced firmino already.

The better argument is we were short of quality with them in midfield and we needed for them to leave earlier.
