According to Pearce, its 1 more MF and a CB not 2 more MFs!
So if Pearce is right, we will only get Thuram and a CB (possibly). The Club sees the emergence of Steph and CJ and a resurgent Fabs as being able to do the job. @StevieM will no doubt agree with that assessment.

It is what it is…

Adding two CMs who have the potential to start every week would be a massive upgrade when you consider we are losing three CM/AMs who are all either never available or no longer starting XI material.

If we got 2 (lets say Mac & Thuram) i'd be very happy going into the new season with this roster, although DM would still feel an area for future attention.

Fabs
Hendo
Thiago
Jones
Mac Allister
Thuram
Bajcetic

Once these two roles are sorted I see defence as the next priority as an injury to either full back or one of VVD or Konate would be disastrous.

Come December we will ne rueing on why we hadn't signed another MF. Hendo has no legs, Fabs the shadow of the player he was though still can do a job, CJ amd Thiago are always a game away from a season-ending injury

Hahahaha. As if there was anything stopping us anyway.

Alcaraz, Danilo, Joao Gomes....all signed from south america, registered and playing straight away.

Does this kick into effect straight away then?

We could really do with our promising youngsters not being injured.

Baj - season ended because of injury
Doak - remember him having concussion and then having an injury that kept him out for about a month
Ramsay - pretty much was out from the off to injury
Gordon - same as above, feels like forever since we've seen this kid.
Sepp - don't think he'll make it but even he suffered a season ending injury.

What is it with us?

I do think that clubs are a lot more cautious with young injured players than senior injured players these days. With good reason too. All of us can think of young players we have had in the past who have had injuries early on and never really recovered because they weren't treated properly.

That said though, you are right that as far as I know this doesn't seem to happen to other clubs!! Are we just very unlucky?

Lesbians be confused. No idea who he is, other than plays on the LW for LSAK in the Austrian League is 22 years old and has scored 14 goals and 7 Assists. The highlights are meh...

Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery.

According to a report from RMCsport, Liverpool will face competition from German club Borussia Dortmund and Premier League rivals Manchester City. The 17-year-old is highly rated at the French club and PSG consider him non-transferable this summer.L
Apparently, the youth player has two years left on his current deal and he is yet to open talks over a contract renewal. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can convince the French outfit to sell him in the coming weeks.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also a huge fan of the player.
The 17-year-old midfielder has the potential to develop into a top-class playmaker in future and he could prove to be a solid long-term investment for clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City.
The Reds need to add more quality and depth in the middle of the park and Jurgen Klopp could help the young midfielder develop into a useful first-team player for the Reds. Liverpool have parted ways with Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner this summer and they will have to bring in multiple reinforcements.
The 17-year-old PSG midfielder needs to join the club where he will get ample game time and that might not be possible at Paris Saint-Germain, especially with players like Marco Verratti already at the club and Manuel Ugarte set to join.

A move away from the French club could be ideal for the youngster’s development and Liverpool could provide him with the platform he needs.
Similarly, Dortmund are reportedly keen on him and the German club have an impressive track record of nurturing talented young players. They could look to sign him as a replacement for Jude Bellingham who joined Real Madrid.

I read this story yesterday and dismissed it.. the kid turned 17 in March, so legally we can't sign him until he turns 18. He played 917Mins in 26 games for one of the most elite clubs in the world at 17. There's no way he is complaining!
