Isco could be set to join Real Madrid for the coming season. Negotiations to sign the midfielder took place on Wednesday afternoon in a meeting at the Santiago Bernabéu between Málaga representatives, the player and Real Madrid.
Five of the people who attended the meeting were seen leaving the site in a car together during the afternoon. The car was driven by Julio Senn – Real Madrid legal adviser-, who was accompanied by Mario Husillos – Málaga Sporting Director -, Vicente Casado – Málaga General Director -, Rafael Comino – the player's lawyer- and Isco's father. José Ángel Sánchez went along as interlocutor for 'Los Blancos'.
The player's transfer fee was discussed in the three-way meeting, with Málaga initially requesting a clause stating the fee may increase to €35 million, but Real is believed to prefer a negotiation to include a player exchange in the deal.
Málaga's number-one objective would be Álvaro Morata, and the club is willing to lower the clause providing the Madrid striker is part of the agreement.
On TV programme 'Futboleros' - on MARCA TV - Enrique Marqués revealed that Real made an offer of €10 million plus José Callejón. The TV presenter also mentioned players from Real Madrid Castilla (Real’s reserve team) who could appeal to Málaga, such as Jesé Rodríguez.
