Tottenham coach, Andre Villas Boas, is already making plans for the wad of cash his club would get from the sale of their star man, Gareth Bale, to Real Madrid. The coach has asked his club’s president to sign Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic, who may be looking to move with Madrid’s Higuaín likely to move there and Fernando Llorente already tied up.

The English club would be willing to pay between 20 and 30 million euros for the Serie A striker, according to ‘Tuttosport’ and ‘A Bola’. The investment, for a team who won’t be playing Champions League football next season, only makes sense if they are going to be banking serious money in the near future. And the only transaction likely to do that for them is the sale of Gareth Bale to Madrid. Real’s president Florentino Pérez is willing to pay 70 million euros in the coming days for the Welshman, before he renews with Tottenham.

If we sell Reina for the rumoured paltry 8m to Barca, a club with NO goalkeeper, I'll be fuming. Especially if the Suarez clause bollocks is true.

Whoops, off topic.

Official: Victor Valdes stays at Barcelona until the end of his contract in June 2014

Valdes: "Psychologically I'm exhausted. I feel that my cycle at the club ends in 2014. That's what I told the club. It is not a money issue."

Valdes: "It's an honour the club wants me to continue, but the decision is final. I think the club has enough time to look for a successor."

Valeds: "I will wear and defend this shirt and this crest with honour until the last day, as I have done since the first day."

Outgoing Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser says the club has reached an agreement with Chelsea over the transfer of Andre Schurrle and the loan of Kevin de Bruyne.

“We are in agreement with Chelsea. They buy [Andre] Schurrle for a certain transfer fee and in return [Kevin] de Bruyne is sent on a one-year loan,” Holzhauser told Rheinische Post.

“I assume that Chelsea stand by what has been agreed upon

There are reports Marouane Fellaini offered himself to Juventus, but they were not interested in the Everton star.

The Belgian international midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, where he would reunite with manager David Moyes.

According to TMW, Fellaini’s entourage called Juventus to offer himself as a summer transfer target.

However, the Bianconeri replied he “does not fit the player profile of interest to us.”

The wild-haired 25-year-old has been at Everton since 2008 and is a fan favourite.

“My destiny is with Everton, it’s as simple as that,” Fellaini was quoted as saying last night.

“After that, you never know what can happen, but we still speak of one of the greatest English clubs.”

Rafa Benitez has reportedly asked Napoli to sign Everton’s Marouane Fellaini this summer.

The new Coach has very different tactics to predecessor Walter Mazzarri and is therefore eager to revamp the squad.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Rafa has targeted several Premier League players for his defence and midfield.

Fellaini is a fan favourite at Everton and would cost around £24m to tempt him away, but there is hope.

On Friday TMW reported that Fellaini’s agent rang Juventus and offered himself to the club, only to be told he did not fit their transfer profile.

If the 25-year-old Belgian international still has his heart set on Serie A and the Champions League, then Napoli would be a good option.

Other targets for Napoli in the Premier League include Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel and Jan Vertonghen of Tottenham.

German newspaper Bild claims Napoli have agreed a deal for Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez.

The online edition of Bild published the surprise story this evening, suggesting that his entourage has already been in talks with Napoli for several weeks.

There are suggestions that Gomez has agreed a three-year contract with the Partenopei.

The 27-year-old has been at Bayern since 2009 after growing up in the Stuttgart youth academy, prompting a then-Bundesliga record €35m transfer fee.

He scored a brace in the DFB-Pokal German Cup Final against Stuttgart yesterday, helping Bayern to become the first German side ever to win the Treble.

€20m is the quoted fee by Bild.

Be interesting to see how Navas fares in the Premiership...

I wonder whose signing this is as well given that Pellegrini hasn't officially signed on.

This is a guy who, last time I heard, got homesick even when he was away with the Spanish national team. How - if at all - is he going to cope living and playing full-time in a different country?

He reckons he's gotten past his anxiety issues.
