Keisuke Honda to Milan is pretty much a done deal now.

Should be confirmed within a few days.

Good signing. Quality player.

Negredo is a good box striker, he will finish easily with good service. 20-30 league goals next season if he goes to city

Marco van Ginkel: Chelsea set to complete deal for midfielder

Chelsea have agreed a deal with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem for their midfielder Marco van Ginkel.
The 20-year-old Dutch international is set to become Jose Mourinho's second signing of the summer after the arrival of Germany forward Andre Schurrle.
The Blues added in a statement: "The player will join Chelsea subject to a medical, agreement of personal terms and legal documentation."
Van Ginkel's rise

Marco van Ginkel joined Vitesse Arnhem when he was just seven years old and has progressed through their academy. He made his debut for the club in April 2010 and his international debut came in November last year.
Reports have suggested the 20-year-old is valued at about £8m.
Van Ginkel joined Vitesse's academy as a seven-year-old in 1999 and came through the ranks before making his first-team debut in April 2010.
He was a regular last season and emerged as one of the team's star performers as Vitesse secured fourth place in the Dutch top flight.
The midfielder made his international debut against Germany last November and was included in the Netherlands Under-21 squad for the recent European Championship in Israel.

Fiorentina and Bayern Munich are at loggerheads over the sale of Mario Gomez, with the Bundesliga club holding out for €20m.

The striker’s agent claimed on Wednesday that the Germany international was on the verge of joining Vincenzo Montella’s men.

But Corriere dello Sport have claimed this morning that Pep Guardiola’s side don’t want to sell the 27-year-old for anything less than €20m.

However, the Viola are only willing to splash out between €15m-€18m for the goalscorer.

Keisuke Honda has agreed a four-year deal with Milan worth €2.5m per season, reports in the Italian media have claimed.

Several outlets on the peninsula insist that the Japan international has put pen-to-paper with the Rossoneri, however, it is unclear whether the midfielder will move this summer or in January.

The 27-year-old's current contract with CSKA Moscow runs out on January 1 2014, at which point he will join the San Siro side as a free agent.

To get Honda this summer though, Milan will have to reach an agreement with the Russian side. Stories earlier this week revealed that Massimiliano Allegri's side have already had a €2m bid turned down.

Manchester United are reportedly showing light interest in Lazio and Udinese’s co-owned Antonio Candreva.

The journeyman attacking midfielder’s future is once more in the balance this summer, with Napoli seen as pushing for a deal, and even listed as such by Udinese yesterday.

However, the 26-year-old’s performances for Italy at the Confederations Cup have also reportedly attracted the interest of David Moyes at Manchester United.

Whilst it is described by the Gazzetta dello Sport as ‘faint interest’ at this moment, it is considered as likely competition to Rafa Benitez’ side in their pursuit of Candreva.

Napoli have reportedly dived in with a €27m offer for Stevan Jovetic, as Fiorentina are concerned at the lack of interest.

The Montenegro international has been given a €30m price-tag and the Viola insist they’ll only accept cash.

Juventus director Beppe Marotta said in a Press conference yesterday that they were pulling out of the race for the time being, as relations with the Tuscan club are “difficult.”

According to newspaper Il Mattino, Napoli hope to take advantage by diving in with a proposal worth €27m.

There would also be a five-year contract for Jovetic worth €2.6m per season.

He had seemed to be set for a Premier League move, but Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have not made the right offer.

Napoli would raise the funds by selling Edinson Cavani, as today Spanish and French sources suggest PSG are prepared to pay the €63m buy-out clause.

It’s reported Fiorentina are increasingly concerned that the situation is dragging on, as they cannot sign Mario Gomez from Bayern Munich until one of their forwards is sold.

There are also claims in some quarters that the Viola could sell Adem Ljajic in order to keep Jovetic and Gomez.

Tuttosport claims Juventus talks for Angelo Ogbonna are at risk after Napoli offered €15m for the Torino defender.

It is no secret that Juve have been in a series of meetings with local rivals Toro for the Italy international, but there is still no deal.

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the reason is a last-minute interception from Napoli worth €15m.

Today Torino President Urbano Cairo welcomed Juve directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici to his offices for talks worth €11m.

Juventus are unhappy at the sudden rise in price-tag and do not want to take part in a bidding war.

The Bianconeri hope to rely on Ogbonna’s preference for them rather than a move to Napoli, as he has already agreed personal terms for a four-year contract.

It’s not the only Juve-Napoli clash, as the Partenopei have also reportedly offered €27m for Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic.

There are also problems for Juventus, as they had hoped to give Torino their half of Under-21 international striker Ciro Immobile as part of the Ogbonna deal.

However, Genoa own the other 50 per cent of Immobile and have made it clear they do not want him joining the Granata.

Torino are trying to buy out Genoa, but negotiations have been difficult and so far without resolution.

Premier League outfits West Ham United and Cardiff City are both in the hunt for striker Javier Saviola, reports Sport.

Saviola’s contract with Malaga ended on June 30 and the Argentine international is now ready to listen to offers, which have not been long in coming.

Both the Hammers and the recently-promoted Welsh club are understood to be considering bids for the well-travelled player, who numbers River Plate, Barcelona, Monaco, Sevilla, Real Madrid and Benfica among his former clubs.

It is understood Saviola is open to the idea of trying his luck in England but there has also been talk of possible interest from Celta Vigo, Espanyol and former club River Plate.

Monaco are understood to have placed a €25m offer on the table for Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian international left-back was signed from Deportivo de La Coruna for a reported €12m in July 2010 and has become one of boss Diego Simeone’s most-used players.

Last season the 27-year-old played over 3,700 minutes in 42 official matches and he is someone the Argentine will be loathe to see follow striker Radamel Falcao out of the Vicente Calderon to the French outfit.

Nonetheless, the Madrid club may find it hard to turn down €25m given their financial predicament, with the money being used to free up some of the operations Atletico have had to stop recently, including a bid for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.

For Simeone it would be further blow after publicly lamenting the lack of additions to his squad so far this summer, with Los Colchoneros due to take part in next season’s Champions League.

Real Madrid have put on hold their hopes of landing Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale this summer.

The attacking midfielder was believed to be an €80m target for the Spanish giants but he looks set to stay at White Hart Lane for at least another season after bosses at the Bernabeu announced Spurs were unwilling to do business.

“Real Madrid have decided to put the Gareth Bale signing on hold,” a Madrid source is quoted by Marca as saying.

After receiving yet another ‘no’ from Tottenham, Florentino Perez and his team have decided to call it a day and now see the signing of Bale this summer as impossible.

“Daniel Levy, the English club’s President, is not open to negotiation and, faced with such inflexibility, reaching any sort of agreement is not viable.”

Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United have all shown interest in the 23-year-old Welsh international but it now seems highly unlikely he will be moving anywhere, at least for the time being.

The Marca article quoted the source as adding that the player himself is also happy to remain with the Londoners.

“Bale is content to stay another year in England despite the fact his club will not be taking part in the Champions League.

“He says that he’s very thankful to Tottenham and that he’s happy where he is.

“He has no release clause, will not be making a transfer request and considers that, at his age, he has time enough to make the jump into the big time.

“And when that happens, he wants it to be with Los Blancos,

Operation Asier Illarramendi is not going to be plain sailing by any stretch of the imagination. Real Madrid has a struggle on its hands if it is going to lure the midfielder away from San Sebastian this summer, not least with a €30 million release clause to contend with.

What's more, rumours abound as to an alleged unwritten pact in the Real Sociedad dressing room. The players have apparently vowed not to leave this summer so as to fulfil the dream of getting through the Champions League qualifiers and into the group phase. To rub salt into the wounds, Illarramendi is a firm fan favourite.

The Basque youngster has all the ingredients to take up the baton from countryman Xabi Alonso – big shoes to fill indeed – but the Real Sociedad board is unwilling to budge from the €30 million release clause to which the midfielder and his teammates are tied. The San Sebastián outfit has no pressing need to sell and president Jokin Aperribay has made it abundantly clear that anyone interested in making off with one of the club's crown jewels is going to have to fork out the full fee.

If that weren't enough, Illara is under contract until 2018 longer than many of his illustrious teammates, including heavyweights like Prieto and Bravo and Spain under-21 teammate Iñigo Martínez, all of whom signed new deals until 2017. A new, improved contract could also be in the pipeline, accompanied by a move to up his buyout clause to the biggest in the club's history.

Candreva did look decent in the Confederations Cup, but that stuff about interest from the Mancs smells like an attempt to smoke out Napoli rather than anything else.
