I don't remember booing (at least in England) before the mess kicked off with the Mancs. Which games can you point me to so I can see and apologize if I was wrong ... Will be happy to do so too as unlike many on this site, I am wrong every once in a while (especially when footy is concerned).

the booing definately picked up after the era incident, but obviously theres more to it than that, and i wouldnt compare suarez's diving with ramsays for exaple, we have quite a few players tat dive now and then, gerrard does it, adam does it, but not enough for it to be something that anyone would notice about their game. suarez does it constantly, and its one thing to go down easy so the ref can see that it was a foul but its a whole other thing feigning injury like he often does, encouraging refs to unfairly punish other players.
It'd be interesting to see who'd stick up for suarez if he wasnt such a good footballer, if this was downing there'd probably be boycotts and groups of 'internet terrorists' trying to get rid of him

Hahaha. Im not apologizing mate. I think Suarez is a loathesome contemptable bastard. And the liverpool fans jumping to defend him at every turn makes me lol. However ive known for some time now that I have very little in common with liverpool (or even football) fans these days. I find much of what the football fan of today says and thinks totally and utterly pathetic and tragic and biased and so so very self-pitying. So my views on Suarez are unlikely to sit alongside the views of yours or anyone elses for that matter.

Two points about the diving. One: there are others in other teams who do it every bit as much, not least down the other end of the E.Lancs Rd. Two: I'm sick and feckin tired of watching such players in other teams helping those teams to win trophies while my team busts a gut trying to catch them. Would I prefer it if none of this were necessary? Yes. Am I prepared to watch Liverpool FC become permanent second-raters because we don't have winners in our side who are willing to mix it with those other players doing the same thing? Fuck. That.
fair enough if you would, i suspect that there are other fans who wouldnt though. with suarez though its not helping, if anything it gives him a disadvatage, he's getting such a bad reputation for it that he's go the whole boy who cried wolf thing going on and refs often dont award him what should have been a free kick because he comes across as so theatrical
