Sturridge on the move perhaps?

Are people more likely to get injured in the winter?

Not counting falling on ice, of course.

People who do things during winter, that historically everyone has always done in the summer, are more likely to find out the hard way that you shouldn't go against the overwhelming majority. You wouldn't think of it because you live in Greece, but it makes a difference, it's harder to get up and climb the stairs when it's cold.

Agreed. Cant wait to have him back. One of the best strikers in the league and the best English striker.
The "fuck offs" and abuse he gets is a joke. I very much doubt he wants to be injured.

No, silly. He got his new big contract and since then he's not been arsed enough to get fit from his injuries. If he really wanted to be fit and play football he would, but he's lazy and arrogant and now he doesn't care, and he's told his body to not care either.

Are you willing to entertain the thought that a lot of the training Sturridge is doing happens indoors?

I look forward to Daniel returning in the same way I look at my holidays these days. Just a couple of happy weeks in The Lying Rag for a shitload of cash.

You overestimate the facilities at Melwood. This is the place they duck taped black fucking bin bags around the walls to keep people from looking in.

It gets cold here too, you know.

Surely we're warm blooded and that allows us to do stuff when it's cold? Unless, of course, Studge is a lizard.

But you CAN wait to have him back. If you couldn't, then you'd appreciate the frustration, anger and confusion his injury saga is causing.

I think I'm as frustrated as anyone here about his injury situation. I just dont agree about him deliberatly being out injured

Trouble is he's so good! If that other alleged striker we have was in the same boat injury wise would I be bothered - absolutely not

This forum taught me that running on ice is bad.
Hahaha, that was the most shamelessly ignorant thread this forum has ever seen!

I can imagine being stupid enough to go running in snow on tarmac. We've all had dumb ideas. I can even imagine being stupid enough that you actually go too fast and fall over. But I cannot imagine being stupid enough to log onto SixCrazyMinutes, of all places, and ask of litigation advice against the council because I got a booboo on my knee. That's a whole different level.

The absolute melt.

You can't cheat thermodynamics. The only way the body stays warm in the cold is by burning itself, burning fat cells. For an athlete like Sturridge with presumably not much spare fat to go around, it will, in fact it surely must, it must be burning his brain cells. Warm Bodies was a pretty funny zombie film by the way.

If Sturridge was a fat fuck with thick legs and arms, his joints would stay relatively warm. As it is, his legs are almost entirely muscle and bone, the only fat he would burn is the blubber around his vital organs and his brain. That heat doesn't conduct as well through his body, and so his joints don't warm up, he gets injured.

I'm not a medical doctor, so I don't know any of that. But I'm the doctor, I thought it through, and my guess work is usually more accurate than the world's best doctor's could possibly even imagine. So you can trust me on that.

Bit shocked at dantes there myself.

Dear Duct Tape Users:
Is it Duct or Duck? We don’t want you to be confused, so we will explain. The first name for Duct Tape was DUCK. During World War II the U.S. Military needed a waterproof tape to keep the moisture out of ammunition cases. So, they enlisted the Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division to manufacture the tape. Because it was waterproof, everyone referred to it as “duck” tape (like water off a duck’s back). Military personnel discovered that the tape was good for lots more than keeping out water. They used it for Jeep repair, fixing stuff on their guns, strapping equipment to their clothing... the list is endless.
After the War, the housing industry was booming and someone discovered that the tape was great for joining the heating and air conditioning duct work. So, the color was changed from army green to the silvery color we are familiar with today and people started to refer to it as “duct tape*.” Therefore, either name is appropriate.

So I'm pretty sure they used the traditional green Duck tape, to match with the green bin bags.

His website greets you with Daniel's qualities: 'COMPOSED-FEARLESS-CREATIVE...DETERMINED-AGILE-FAST'. He forgot: 'INJURED-CAREFREE-AIMLESS'.

Apparently he is 'the youngest ever player to win the Champions League'. I can't ever remember him playing in a final. I'm struggling these days to remember him playing, full stop.

83 goals and 24 dances.. 🙂
Its a real shame he's been injured for long spells, coz there's a real talent there. If he's available for half of the remaining 17 games, thats top 4 finish guaranteed.

I googled it before I posted so had read the history. That's why I phrased my question the way I did. Simply asking, are we a forum that says duck tape or duct tape? I guess we're going with duck tape then.

I don't like that you're one step ahead of me.

It's time that you took him out. Slip a poisoned egg into his egg basket.

I reckon they used that camouflage duck tape, so no one can see it. I'm not sure you can get it in the UK, Henry probably had Linda stick some in her handbag the last time they flew over.
