Out of the squad again for the weekend it seems.... surely he is fit now.

I just get the weird feeling he is looking for a way out of the club right now. He seems a lot more petulant and lazy over the last year.

Is Klopp keeping him in cotton wool for potential sale?

I'm not exactly upto speed on this man of glass motherfucker, but I thought he declared he was fit on some sort of social media after being unbroken for about half an hour, then Kloppo said 'no you're not you've not done 9days', then he broke down again a couple of days after that?
I don't think he's actually capable of doing 9 consecutive days.

He's just full of shit with this "God will look after me" BS.

No Daniel, get off your ass, off the instagram and make a fucking effort for your 150K a week (or whatever it is).

JK said he needs to stay fit for 9 training sessions in a row before being considered for for selection.

He's injured. Save your hate for those that deserve it.

With the euros coming up I'm sure he'd want to be fit to get into the squad. Its frustrating but he's not doing it on purpose.

I'd be happy if we sold him.. as I'm pretty much over the circus that comes with his situation. I just don't understand the hate

He's injured FFS, why does it have to be more sinister than that? Klopp said he's constantly asking if he can play. "The motherfucker", lazy, blah blah. Grow the fuck up.

He hasnt completed 9 training sessions in the 3 years hes been at the club. Telling Sturridge hes needs to be fit for 9 consecutive days is like telling Enrique not to act like a cunt on instagram for a week, its not possible.

He's going to play like 5 games before the end of the season, make the squad for the Euro and then get injured in France.

I get the impression Sakho is saving himself for the summer, with Sturridge its not worth planning that far ahead, he will probably be in a wheelchair by then

Those are some of the poorest reasoning skills I have come across.

His website greets you with Daniel's qualities: 'COMPOSED-FEARLESS-CREATIVE...DETERMINED-AGILE-FAST'. He forgot: 'INJURED-CAREFREE-AIMLESS'.

Apparently he is 'the youngest ever player to win the Champions League'. I can't ever remember him playing in a final. I'm struggling these days to remember him playing, full stop.

"Sturridge on the move" is much more likely than "Benteke on the move" in any given 90 minute period

He's still working on his fitness and Klopp probably wont risk him until he has achieved whatever internal goals they've set for him fitness wise.
One of them was the 9 training sessions in a row which he hasnt been able to do.

If he gets through his little pre season we might see him staying fit for a longer period of time. Might.

Doubt he's one the move anyway.

Agreed. Cant wait to have him back. One of the best strikers in the league and the best English striker.
The "fuck offs" and abuse he gets is a joke. I very much doubt he wants to be injured.

But you CAN wait to have him back. If you couldn't, then you'd appreciate the frustration, anger and confusion his injury saga is causing.

To be honest, I feel the same way about Sturridge that I do about Alonso. Nice when he was playing for us but I'd rather not cling on to the past. I don't expect him to miraculously stop being so injury prone so I'd rather we just signed another striker.

If we had an actual doctor who came up with those goals, that's one thing. But 9 mini pre-season training sessions? What the fuck is that? Why? First of all pre-season happens in the summer, when it is warm and people our age have good movement in their joints. Sturridge is doing his dumb drills in this fucking ice age arctic winter. If we had a doctor who understood biology, they'd factor these things in. Instead we just have laypeople pulling shit out of their arse.

Are people more likely to get injured in the winter?

Not counting falling on ice, of course.
