9 assists now, equal top with Rooney, Walcott, Mata and Podolski and ten goals overall.

After a dodgy start to the season what a great return to form it has been for our skipper.

Hope this form continues into next season and we have a real crack at the top spots with him

I think he just enjoys playing with quality players, he always seems to have a great connection with our top attacking players, Torres or Suarez and now Coutinho.

The piece of play between Stevie then Coutinho then Suarez for Luis first goal against Wigan was beautiful.

When Stevie is smiling, you know that everything is alright.
The way he celebrated that penalty last weekend is an indicator.

Yep, and with Agger. He's never played so many games in a row before.
They're apperantly working on a programme for Studge aswell.

One of the greatest players ever to play for Liverpool, or for any other team for that matter. Shame on the doubters.

Ever great player doesn't finish their career as a match winner.

I'm happy he's still playing well though

Amazing that SG has played every minute of every PL game this season when we consider the injury he had. Loads of credit to the backroom staff, and to the man himself, who has clearly worked hard to prolong his career.

I wish they would extend Carra's career for just one more year as well so he can stand beside Stevie as he lifts the PL Trophy next year(I can dream). In my lifetime they are the 2 non-winners to deserve it most, well, so far.

Really cant believe Gerrard's played every min of every league game for us this season. Crazy shit.

Anyway, he's clearly playing much better this half of the season compared to last.

I doubt we'll see the all-action, maurading Stevie G of years gone by, but the quality and class is still very much there and he looks happy and settled under the new regime which can only be good news.

Rodgers seems to have his senior players on side.
