I'm staggered we got £49m (or whatever for him) Great. I'm made up. Be interesting to see how they spend it.

Joyce saying he'll be getting 200k a week aswell, lolololol. Fuck knows what they think they're buying. Someone must have sent them a video like the one of downing and the bins.

It makes me frustrated that the little prick has got what he wanted. I really hope he flops massively!

I'll feel better about this if we invest this money in two quality players, but at the moment it fits a bit shit because a) Sterling and Ward have got what they wanted and b) We didn't get the price we said we wanted.

EDIT: Also because we've had yet another summer of one of our better players wanting to leave because they don't think we're good enough. How long until that shit stops happening?

Great piece of business by Liverpool!

£45m plus add ons for someone with Sterling's baggage is crazy good.

You are unlikely to get much of the add ons as sterling will spend most of his City career on the bench.

He will play loads. Hes a good player and better than Navas or Nasri.
He will deffo play wide right of a 3.

Whenever Man City told Sterling £200k a week, we had lost him. He isn't worth that much. I'm glad we have again extracted a sizable fee. Hope we spend it better this time.

Benteke isn't my first choice. But he would be rather guaranteed to score 10+ goals next year. I'd support him and hope for the best.

Yes it's a good deal financially. The measure of success for us though is if we can improve the team overall with the money we have to spend.

Citeh pay the second highest fee ever for a British player! They really do have money to burn. We can bid for most players now.
