The main problem with the idea of mediation in this case is that, even though Suarez - wonderful player for sure - wasn't at the front of the queue for either brains or maturity, Sterling still manages to be well behind him in both respects. It was possible to get through to Suarez eventually, but I doubt there's room in Sterling's tiny mind for anything but his own thoughts (I use the term loosely) and wishes.
I don't think that's fair, Suarez had a different upbringing, very different, but with literally nothing he managed to make the most of his talent. Sterling has grown up in relative luxury, had an education, so what's his excuse, poor him he didn't have a father, boo fucking hoo. He's a grade one spoilt cunt who is going to piss his limited talent away sitting on the bench. With his ridiculous lifestyle, £37k a week won't go very far either. It's good to see though.
