Ha ha exactly - but I can't see many parents pushing their sons his way after seeing how alienated and universally condemned Sterling has become. It just goes to show the nincompoop is not quite as clever as he thinks he is.

At least if he we did sell, we wouldnt have to pay sterling/agent any more moeny.

I presume the ringing in sick and refusing to go on tour is a prelude to another City bid that will probably fall short of the mark?

I wonder what the PFA think of all of this.

Either way I call bullshit or stirring from Aidy Ward. I'm hardly the biggest fan of Rodgers but he gave Sterling his chance as a 17 year old, has lavished praise on him too and gave him a break last season. I remember when Sterling scored against Norwich towards the end of the 13-14 he sprinted past everyone to celebrate with Rodgers. I reckon Rodgers is nothing to do with why he wants to go.
 
I've got a better idea.

Next time he turns up for training l, someone snaps his knee in to pieces, so badly he never plays again.

LFC take whatever he's insured for and that little fucker can enjoy living off a disability allowance.

I'm spiteful like that - I'd rather LFC give up whatever money they might make to effectively fuck his career.
 
He's a good player and will come around when he realizes that he can't get his own way. I don't see him sabotaging his own career prospects by striking or under-performing. Until then give him the time he needs to get his head right and realize that City don't want him enough to pay the asking price when they so clearly have all the money they need.

There's also the matter of repairing his public image which because of the advice he's receiving worsens daily. On that front,the best thing he could do is switch agent or let the PFA handle matters for him.

I think breaking from his agent would be the absolute best thing he could do.
 
The thing is, this sort of behaviour is the behaviour expected for the money grabbing mercenaries over at the etihad. Other clubs might think twice about him and look at what a cunt him and his agent have been, but over there they wont bat an eyelid. They already think he's the victim and we're the bastards over on that bluemoon forum.
They also think they're signing the new george best. I can't wait till he starts wheeling out some of the garbage we saw in the 2nd half of the season.
