I'm less certain than you about that, simply because I doubt the stupid little toerag could give you a coherent account of his reasons at all. My guess is those reasons fluctuate each time he thinks (I use the term loosely) about this whole thing. Ward is obv.heavily involved but I very much doubt it's all down to him.
 
I'd play along, allow the cunt to sign himself off with an extended illness, then put him on statutory sick pay.

Don't think Sterling wants to sign for City in particular, it's just that he wants to be anywhere but with us.

By all accounts his preference is a move back to London so that'd mean either Arsenal or Chelsea and neither appear to be in for him.
