I like that, but people keep saying Meireles will play central with Gerrard (and the above is similar with Shelvey), they're both too attacking, you know Roy will more or less always playing with a holding player.

I think that is the team that will start against manu. without being a glass half empty type of guy I think our wide players will be given the task of containing their wide players rather than the other way round.

We're playing Thursday night, with United to come on Sunday. Most of our best players will be rested. Roy even hinted he might rest Reina for this one, which makes me think he's made certain promises to Brad Jones. So (assuming Aurelio is injured) I reckon we'll see...
