Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: "We are delighted to welcome Vauxhall Motors to the LFC family.
"Not only do they bring with them a wealth of exciting football activation experience"

What the fuck is football activation, do they pump up the balls on matchdays or something?
Probably a form of brand activation in the footballing sense, which the club can benefit from. Don't know how.

A cynical part of me thinks that all these sponsorship deals are being announced in Jan to deflect that WE HAVEN"T SIGNED ANYONE IN JANUARY.

There's nothing cynical about spotting smoke and mirrors.

Heh.. like any fan is going to cream themselves for weeks over doughnut deals and then get halfway through February and go, "err.. hang on a minute!"

The deal we signed in 2012 with Chevrolet was worth up to 5m in total over the four years of the deal.

I'm guessing this is the same ?

Someone on Twitter reckons the DD deal is worth £20million over 2.5years, seems a bit generous.

[conspiracy] Unless they're friends of the owners & it's a way to prop up the finances for FFP. [/conspiracy]

Quite fitting that whilst the Arabs use there national airline to pump millions of quid into there football club, our American owners use a Doughnut company, haha.

The deal hasn't changed, just the brand of car General Motors are suppyling us with.

Would be interesting to know whether Standard Chartered try to reclaim any of their sponsorship if it includes training kit too?

Yet another not significant sponsor deal:

Andy Hunter says Garuda's sponsorship of #LFC's training kit will cost them £16m per year (2 year deal).

DD is apparently £25m over two years, tidy. Shame they don't start until next season. On the flip, taking Rosco's 40m moving out the three year rolling window, and this sponsorship money, we should be loaded in the summer, if only it worked like that.

Ooh Ayre did make a statement about the stadium sort of, a couple of properties left to sort out and then we can move forward.

What's the source on this Dunkin Donuts bollocks ?

Cool so now we have training kit sponsors.

How about warming up kit sponsors, cooling down kit sponsors, bathrobe sponsors, physio kit sponsors, sponsors on the pitch around Anfield, announcement of line-up sponsors (And now, Liverpool's starting XI brought to you by....), Operation Anfield sponsors (Operation Anfield, brought to you by... has now commenced), substitution sponsors (coming on for no 21 Lucas is no 13 M'villa. This sub was brought to you by..) etc etc.

If we get money, sure.
