Probably a form of brand activation in the footballing sense, which the club can benefit from. Don't know how.

Man Utd became the first club to sell sponsorship rights in 2011 (to DHL for £40m, four-year deal). They brought back the rights in 2012 and then signed a £157m, eight-year deal with AON (which involved the club's training facilities at Carrington being renamed).

Would be great if we can get anywhere near such figures.

DD is apparently £25m over two years, tidy. Shame they don't start until next season. On the flip, taking Rosco's 40m moving out the three year rolling window, and this sponsorship money, we should be loaded in the summer, if only it worked like that.
