Would you Adam and eve it.

The academy is now being called the cadets, it's a whole new philosophy, or 'MANTrA'.

I know it's weak, the Spanish might even call it No Va.

I thought Vauxhall only exists in the UK and in the rest of the world it's Opel?

What's the point of being shirt sponsor in Asia then?

It would be the Vauxhall group still, they'll probably have Opel on the shirts over seas.

Liverpool FC today announced Vauxhall Motors as their automotive partner in Europe until the end of the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League season.

Vauxhall Motors, which has a manufacturing plant at Ellesmere Port near Liverpool, adds the Reds to its UK football sponsorship portfolio - which currently sees them partner with all four Home Nations (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales).
"Vauxhall Motors has enjoyed great success over the past three seasons with our Home Nations football sponsorships," said Vauxhall chairman and managing director, Duncan Aldred.
He continued: "This exciting new partnership will undoubtedly benefit from the experience we have gained in international football and we look forward to working with an iconic club such as Liverpool FC."
Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: "We are delighted to welcome Vauxhall Motors to the LFC family.
"Not only do they bring with them a wealth of exciting football activation experience but they also play a key role in the lives of many in Merseyside as one of the largest employers in the North West region."
Vauxhall Motors' Ellesmere Port manufacturing plant employs more than 1,500 people and currently produces the Vauxhall Astra.
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, Reds fans in the UK have the chance to win a brand new bespoke Vauxhall Astra. For more details on how to enter, visit www.facebook.com/vauxhallliverpoolfc.

By "bespoke Vauxhall Astra" do you reckon they'd be ok if you asked they to "make it look like a fucking Ferrari".

The Vauxhall sponsorship is just a brand switch with the Chevrolet deal we have. The parent company, General Motors, are withdrawing Chevrolet from Europe next year so we can no longer be supplied with that brand of car, hence the switch to supplying us with another GM brand, Vauxhall. The deal ends in 2016. Apparently Joe Allen currently drives a "Camaro muscle car", which is kind of ironic. It is expected that the most popular Vauxhall car will be the 6.2 litre VXR8.

The deal would appear to be free cars for multi-millionaire footballers. I'm sure the prospect of having a free Corsa will help us close many a deal with the unheard of journeymen and value-for-money 'prospects' we love to sign. Va Va Voom Vauxhall...

A cynical part of me thinks that all these sponsorship deals are being announced in Jan to deflect that WE HAVEN"T SIGNED ANYONE IN JANUARY.

What the fuck is football activation, do they pump up the balls on matchdays or something?
